Welcome travelers,
We Believe you'll find this home to be the perfect place to explore and experience northern California's lost coast. Built in 1996, we raised and homeschooled our kids here, enjoying the spectacular scenery out every window.
As empty nesters we moved one ridge inland back to our family ranch where we raise Waygu cross beef cattle and pinot noir wine grapes. We're now excited to offer our home to vacationers.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Checking in was easy and all the instructions were very well communicated. The place was clean and spacious. I woke up every morning to look out the window and see a family of deer grazing in front of crashing waves! It was the perfect house for my best friend and I to talk and lounge around reading and stare at the ocean for hours - plus a quick jaunt to Avenue of the Giants. A great experience, and I would happily book again!

Beautiful home with beautiful views, very relaxing to hear the waves crashing right outside the window. Easy check in and out.

Pristine house with breathtaking views of the ocean. The house is located on the Pacific Ocean coastline. Everything was perfect, we wished we could have stayed longer.

We arrived at the home and were greeted by several mule deer eating 10 feet away in the yard. They were not bothered by our arrival. A few moments later a Grey fox walked by while we were unloading our car.once we were unpacked we walked.down to seal rock where there were at least 20 seals and sea lions sunning themselves as the tide move in.What a wonderful start to our stay. The next morning we were awoke by the sea lions barking. My grandson couldn't get enough. The property was very nice. The views were amazing. We saw.the seals swimming from the dining room windows. The nearby Cafe food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this property.

Dear Pam amd family, I'm so glad the wildlife greeted and entertained you during your visit. It's a special feature of the cove. The deer are actually blacktail deer, the smaller coastal cousin of the mule deer.

Awesome property, photos do not do it justice! Ocean access is right out the sliding door. Everything in the house was clean and tidy, also clear communication between property renters.

Simply wonderful

The online photos of the property do not do it justice - it is right on the ocean - from almost all the windows, that is what you see and hear- ocean. It's beautiful. Communication/arrival/departure was super easy and there was no need to contact the hosts during our 5 night stay there. The house is well appointed with (more than what) we needed for our stay in Shelter Cove. This is a special home in a special place. We are grateful for having stayed there.

Great place to stay right in the coast. Roomy withe great views. It was awesome being able to see ocean life from both inside and outside the house!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back. The place was extremely clean. I had to work during our stay and had a lot of video calls and the internet connection was amazing. Being by the ocean and hearing the sound of the waves was very restorative. The views were priceless!
