The Basin House is located in the foothill community of Meadview — a quiet desert town known for having one of the densest Joshua Tree forests in the region.

The home sits in a residential area with neighbors nearby, while still offering open desert views, peaceful surroundings, and big skies.
Out back, you’ll see the Grand Wash Cliffs canyon views, and from the front, you can enjoy soft desert sunrises and glowing sunsets. At night, the skies turn dark and clear — perfect for stargazing.

Inside, the home is spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — exactly as guests describe. It’s thoughtfully stocked with everything you need, making your stay easy from the moment you arrive. The bedrooms are designed for rest, with blackout curtains for deep, uninterrupted sleep.

Place was super clean and beautiful had not issues during our stay for the price it was really hard to pass up on especially with all the room. Would highly recommend.

This home had everything we needed and more! Comfy beds, plush towels, K-cups, and shampoo! House was spotless and check in was easy! We enjoyed 3 meals at The Boathouse restaraunt right up the street, and the view was amazing! Highly recommend!

Loved this home!! Very comfortable, clean & fresh. It is well stocked with everything you could need. Convenient to the Grand Canyon SkyWalk, Guano Point and an easy drive to Lake Mead. It is off the beaten path, but worth it! Would definitely stay again

While the house has a very humble exterior, the interior was absolutely tremendous! Beautiful mattresses, pillow pillows, and sheets. Really well equipped kitchen. For a small ranch, the house felt very spacious. Great back patio with a beautiful sunset view of the Ridgeline.Tippi was a great host!

Great house

Amazing view of stars at night and house was cozy. If you want to get away from all the noise perfect place to stay. House was beautiful and family enjoyed staying in and then star gazing at night.
