Bruce and Darby have created a home that is truly a masterpiece—a beautiful blend of history, storytelling, beauty, and comfort. Every thoughtfully created detail tells a story and adds to the warmth and character of the space. It was an absolute honour to experience and enjoy each and every detail. A truly unforgettable and special home and now our forever VRBO. The property is breathtaking and we were lucky enough to see a red tail fox and of course plenty of deer. Bruce and Darby were amazing hosts - welcoming, warm and extremely easy to communicate with . They made everything easy! The home is immaculately clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was unbelievably enjoyable. HIGHLY recommend this VRBO if you are looking for a girls get away!

Spent a wonderful weekend here with a girlfriend to unwind, and this place was exactly what we needed. It was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We couldn't help but spend the first two hours of every morning on the porch, sipping coffee and soaking it all in.The space was decorated with such an artistic eye. Even after you'd admired a painting and its carefully chosen pairings, you'd notice another perfectly placed detail that elevated the room to a whole new level. It was simply marvelous.Although the property is on well water, there was plenty of bottled water available for those who are more accustomed to city water.A true hidden gem just outside Edmonton!

We had a wonderful time on our anniversary getaway. We were welcomed by a bottle of champagne in the fridge, and Bruce and Darby were easily and quickly reachable when we had questions. The bed was comfy, the deck was amazing and we were invited to help ourselves to the veggies in the garden. Would definitely stay here again.

Great excape from the everyday city life, yet close enough to the city's amenities

Lovely cabin with beautiful decor, that gives a feeling of comfort. A very spacious yard with a fireplace that makes it easy to spend the days outdoors or sitting to enjoy your morning coffee. It also has a secluded feelingto it making it the perfect weekend escape for a family, a couple or just yourself. Thank you for the perfect place to soend my weekend. Can hardly wait to come back.

Shauna , you led us to believe you were responsible renters , however you and your family left our beautiful cabin in a disgusting mess . Garbage everywhere, spilled drinks , stolen items , huge pile of disgusting dirty dishes and the list goes on . I would absolutely never allow you back to our cabin . I see on your profile you have another name Shauna Mcloud . Hmmm . Beware of this person fellow hosts .

Private art gallery

I could write a novel on how this property is everything that I needed. Clean, private, fully stock with everything you need. From the art & books flowing everywhere through the property to the little details of fresh flowers left for our arrival. Amazing wood stove, bonfire, private deck with hot tub. One of the best bed I have slept in and what an amazing kitchen if you are a foodie :)

Saturday night l happened to get it started, last night and all morning, nor so lucky.I felt horrible about leaving soiled dishes in the dishwasher.Thank you
