Absolutely fantastic. Great property. Great location, Great Communication. The property is very well cleaned and maintained. Very cozy and has all you need. I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Anniversary getaway for my husband and I. We were very pleased with all the lil touches throughout the property that made it feel like home away from home. And the fenced in yard for our pups was perfect!
They mastered the stairs during our stay!

We had a great time. The property was wonderful and having the fenced tard made it easy for us to bring our dog. Cookson is very nicely placed to be convenient to everything on the east side of the lake. We loved having the fire pit and playing ping pong. Thank you so much!

Stayed during baseball tourney

Loved our stay! Place was pet friendly, the host also had every little detail thought out to make our stay easier! Comfortable for our family of 5.

1-star review:The stay itself was completely overshadowed by an extremely stressful and unprofessional post-checkout experience. After we left, the host submitted a large claim with accusations and charges I strongly dispute, including alleged missing items, pre-existing issues, and normal cleaning/laundry after a month-long stay.We had purchased property damage protection, and the insurance claim was paid for more than 600. Even after that, the host continued trying to charge additional fees, including a dog-related fee, despite the listing stating there were no hidden fees or charges and no such fee being clearly disclosed to us.I would not stay here again.

Unfortunately, this guest left our property excessively dirty with missing and broken items. She also did not disclose she would have a dog and 3 children. We are a pet friendly rental but do charge $150 pet fee upfront. In 5 years of renting through VRBO we have never had to file a claim but the financial implications were too extensive to overlook.

Great Fishing

The cabin was really nice and accommodating, great for a family of 4. I highly recommend, the host was responsive and answered all questions. Not tons of close food options so be prepared to cook. I highly recommend fishing on Lake Tenkiller, we hired a guide for two days and caught over 40 Bass.

Perfect Little Cabin

This cozy cabin was perfect for our needs! My husband, our 14 yr old son and myself were in Cookson for the Bassmaster Jr/ HS tournament. The location was perfect! We were close to the tournament ramp at Chicken Creek and used the Cookson Bend ramp for practice days. It was super convenient! The cabin was a peaceful place for the boys to relax after being on the water all day and a great place for me to enjoy some peace & quiet while they were gone! Ha! The property was super clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of spacious parking for our truck and boat trailer. Also, want to give a shout out to Brooks for answering my panicked questions about storm shelters! During our stay we found ourselves under a tornado watch. I have a little bit of storm anxiety and messaged him to ask about a safe place to hunker down in the event that watch turned into a warning! He was so gracious to ease my mind. We truly enjoyed our stay and the Cookson area. We would definitely look for this property again upon visiting the Tenkiller lake area. Be sure to visit Tahlequah if you find yourself here! Beautiful town with very rich Native American history. Loved my visit to the Cherokee National Heritage Museum.
