Welcome to Pine Haven, your Haven in the pines! Located in Pine Colorado. We are a unique space that is a fully private guest house attached to the main house. We can sleep up to 6 people comfortably in a studio-style sleeping area. About 1200 sf of living space, the main level boasts a welcome area, dining and kitchen areas, the bathroom and laundry room. The second floor is where the sleeping and living room areas are. Off the back door is your private back patio with seating and dining area, a gas grill and access to the hot tub. Enjoy the Mountain View’s and private outdoor space!

Very cozy and spotless

Great place to stay. This was second time. Very convenient to our family living in the area. The owners are really helpful and very responsive.

Perfect mountain getaway

We were so amazed that the owners were able to convert a garage into such a spacious, comfortable, and cute space! Everything was organized and fully stocked. The owners thought of everything from extra jackets to snacks and even a motion lit staircase. We will be back!

Very Cozy Place

This was spotless, very comfortable and just as pictured. It is perfect for two ppl but could do more. We will definitely try to stay here again when we come to visit family. Thanks so much.

Front Range get away

The Place was great, if i could give it 6 stars I would. We drove in on Friday evening in a early Nov snow storm from Boulder, to great place that had every detail prefect along with some snacks and drinks waiting. Pine Haven is located in a great area that is very accessible to good hiking, fishing and fun towns. The road in was a bit rough do to the snow yet added to the fun, there was a foot of wet snow on the dirt road after you get off the county road. Overall great and we will be back.

The house was at a beautiful location

We were on her honeymoon. And when we booked, what we thought was a cabin ended up being a house connected to the main house. We looked for a place secluded and the pictures did not show that. We were kind of disappointed about that being, it was our honeymoon. Also the hot tub was smaller than the one showed The owners were very nice. They told us no skinny-dipping because they were inside their windows and could see everything which was kind of inconvenient for a secluded cabin on our honeymoon. Everyone was nice. The place was very clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay but would have enjoyed it much more had we been alone

Perfect getaway in a good location for greater Denver area

House is in a great location. Kristen and Ken were very welcoming hosts. Perfect location to catch a concert at Red Rocks, or day trips to Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, Rocky Mountain National Park, etc. Hot tub with view of the mountains, what more could you want?

Anniversary Trip

Everything was very nice! The place was just as described and looked in the pictures. Communication was wonderful, if we had questions they were answered very quickly and also very helpful with looking for places to dine. The hot tub b was very relaxing and the view was beautiful. Enjoyed the peacefulness and seeing the wildlife.

Perfection

Ken and Kristen have created a welcoming, comfortable, and private retreat. Everything about our stay was perfect! Evenings on the private deck with breathtaking views was a favorite. The Jefferson open space was a mere 0.5 miles away with some hiking trails which was a great way to start the day. We look forward to visiting again.

Holiday plus concert at Red Rocks.

Exceptional in every way! The property was meticulously clean, beautiful and welcoming decor with all of the comforts of home. We appreciated the cold drinks and snacks after a long travel day. The scenery which surrounds the property is breathtaking; 2 deer came for a visit and stayed awhile, hummingbirds and the chirp of crickets. We spent an entire day outside enjoying the serene calm and natural beauty, ending the day with a bbq dinner on the patio. The stay was exactly what we needed; I don’t think we have ever slept so well. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We are grateful to our hosts, Kristen and Ken for opening their property and providing a tranquil and hidden gem to escape.

Pine Haven Heaven

Wow … THE best VRBO! Attention to detail was extraordinary throughout the house, and the property was just perfect for our mountain biking getaway retreat (we biked nearby Buffalo Creek for 3 days which was fantastic!). The hot tub and quiet patio were just what we needed to recover after a day on the trails - we will definitely put this property on our return list! :)

Details Matter

My husband and I stayed for a quick long weekend, and we couldn't have enjoyed the space more for what we wanted! I am a finicky traveler and like things clean and beautiful with some finer touches. I was concerned about it being a converted garage, but fear not, it was so well done. The overall aesthetic was so tasteful, the linens were so cozy, and the kitchen, while smaller, was very well appointed. You have your own patio with seating for at least 6, and the views out back were beautiful and it is SO peaceful at night!! Kudos to the Elsner's for a great renovation! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect mountain getaway

Pine Haven was the perfect mountain getaway! The cozy cabin was perfect for relaxing, and had everything we needed in it! The hosts were so kind to even provide a few snacks and drinks for us as well. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. It was the perfect temp, and the most perfect view looking at the mountain peaks in the distance. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Adorable converted garage by hiking trails

This was an adorable converted garage attached to the main home. Beautiful hot tub and very nicely decorated. I’ve stayed at 6 VRBO homes and this is the first time I didn’t feel we had privacy. It would be very helpful if they hung solid drapes downstairs so that you aren’t always looking at the parking lot. Both mornings we were eating breakfast it felt like we were being watched because someone was in their car, waiting for it to warm up facing the window. The only other advice for future renters is that the washer and dryer doors are misaligned. The owners are aware and have not fixed it and will blame you if the latch breaks. We tried very hard to follow their instructions to close the washer door and the plastic latch broke. Hopefully, they will resolve the root cause of the issue.

Tucked away in the Mountain

We came to Colorado for a wedding and decided to take a long weekend without kids. Booking the reservation was quick and easy. Kristen and Ken were very responsive and communicated throughout the process. The house is perfection. It is decorated well and perfect for a family getaway or a couples getaway. There are plenty of activities available in the cabin and the hot tub. The outdoor patio is comfortable and well kept for relaxing. We found the king size bed to be very comfortable with soft blankets and plenty of warmth for sleeping. The windows open at night kept the room cool. There is a propane space heater in the corner that keeps the room comfortable. Every inch of space has been used well. The chairs are comfortable as well as the couches. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials - the only thing I needed was a pizza stone! The dottera essentials made the cabin feel homey! Rate 10/10!

Perfect Spot for Relaxing

Heaven in the mountains

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in the mountains in Colorado and found this amazing place after looking for weeks. It was our first time booking on VRBO so we weren’t sure what to expect but Ken and Kristen were extremely helpful and quick to reply to all our questions. The house was so inviting and cozy. It was even better than the pictures show. The hosts have thought of every single detail possible to make the stay as comfortable as possible. They even were so sweet to leave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary! If we could give this place 6 stars, we absolutely would! If you are looking for the perfect mountain getaway, this is the place for you! So serene and peaceful and we loved exploring the Pine Valley Ranch Park & Jefferson County Open Space that was just a minute away. We are already looking forward to planning our next trip and staying here again!

Mountain Getaway

Beautiful cabin a short drive from Denver

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful pine grove. The furniture is comfortable, well organized and clean. There’s pillows and throw blankets everywhere. We really enjoyed the cozy feel of the cabin, the hot tub is very nice, and there’s a full kitchen with literally everything you need. The owners are very responsive and easy to communicate with.
