Waterfront beach house 3 minute walk to town.

The Coman's beach house is a newly restored 1966 mid century modern costal style home. It sits 30' back from a no bank bulked with steps down to beach access. The two main bedrooms on the top floor face the water sunrise is amazing and there are blackout curtains if you don't want the light to wake you up. There are two decks one upper level off of the bedrooms and one lower off of the kitchen living area. The kids room has a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle and a princess tent. This place is great for all seasons with fishing swimming floating during the summer and hiking staying in with the unique round wood stove and movie on the projector screen. The location is very close to everything the area has to offer but most of the time you don't want to leave the property.( Note: The lower bath was not restored but is fully functional) We

We loved this adorable retro beach house right on the water! It has a 1960s Malibu vibe, and the two adult bedrooms have a beautiful view of the bay and the sunrise. Kitchen is well equipped and you can walk into town to get coffee or ice cream or restaurants. Laundry facilities were provided, which was great since we’d been traveling for over a week.

Great views and use of the two kayaks was a big plus! We would’ve liked to have had some coffee or coffee filters for the coffee machine. We purchased some and left it for the next guests. Also having some shampoo or soap in the shower would be nice to have. Loved being able to walk into town every day. We would definitely stay again! Thanks, Jeff!

Our favorite part was the view from both the upper and lower parts of the house. Enjoyed rainbows, eagles otters and the peace of it all. Comfortable bedrooms, nice kitchen!Be aware you are right on hwy 101 but it worked out ok.

This is a great house, right on the canal. Cute and cozy inside. The "captain's bed" is so comfortable. Stayed here several times.

Location is awesome! On the water and close to town. House is unique, not very comfortable to relax in main room, only seating is kitchen chairs and a built in bench with pads, we ended up spending most of our time in the bedroom for more comfortable relaxing. I felt like the 175. Cleaning fee was HIGH, and for that money it should have been spotless, but it wasn’t, the basics were clean sort of, the toilet upstairs looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and the tub looked like someone took a bath and didn’t clean supplies if you want to clean. Over all, I don’t think I would stay again, but I loved the location, and sleeping with the door open to the canal was wonderful.

Only negative was the loud construction next door, from 7am until 6pm…but we took several day excursions, so wasn’t too difficult to deal with. Jeff was a wonderful and very helpful host!

Lovely, well appointed home right on the water. We loved sitting out in the back and watching the eagles, seals and even otters. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics ready for you. We did not venture out to Hoodsport, but there are restaurants, coffee shop, etc within walking distance. Would love to visit again in the future!

We never wanted to leave!

This is probably my fave place I've ever stayed! It is absolutely beautiful and I loved waking up and watching with the binoculars for wildlife. This bnb has absolutely everything you could need and more. We are already wanting to come back next year!

We wanted to dive at the Sunrise resort. This place is right next door and a short swim to the boats underwater. Only down side is there wasn’t really a good place to hang our gear when we were out of the water. Only other negative was the sugar ants that we kept finding all over downstairs. Otherwise, host is very responsive to our questions and the house has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great location, comfortable accommodations

This stay was beyond our expectations. The location is in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is also close to all the activities of the Olympic National Park. The house is newly remodeled and is in impeccable condition. There was everything we needed for a wonderful short stay including lawn chairs and kayaks. We would love to come back again next year. Highly recommended.

Such a cool home with an unbeatable view! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect we were able to walk to everywhere in Hoodsport. Checking in and out was seamless. We kayaked every day it was really fun and the host was very easy to contact and even allowed us to check in early. What a wonderful experience, would 100% book again!

Beautiful View

This house has a cool vibe and an outstanding view. Beds are comfortable and the fresh air from the canal offer a great night sleep. Already booked again, love this place.

Great place with view

This is a great place right on the canal. The master bed is so comfy. Jeff provides everything you need for a great and relaxing trip. We've stayed 3 times and already booked for our next trip. There is nothing like the clear water on the canal,and a nice lawn to sut and enjoy.

An amazing find!

This adorable, quirky beach home overlooking Hood Canal was perfect! It was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen too. Only negatives were the propane canisters for the grill were all empty and the a/c didn’t cool the house down enough. But we opened the sliding doors and were able to cool it down that way. We look forward to renting this place again!

Lovely

A small group of family and friends enjoyed the house for a weekend getaway. The downstairs was a perfect area to hang out and play cards while enjoying views of the water. The upstairs bedrooms were unexpectedly large and quite comfortable. Great location and easy check in made everything even better!
