Summary:
Welcome to our downtown getaway! Village on Aurora is located in the heart of downtown Ironwood putting you steps away from Ironwoods City Square and the Historical Ironwood Theater. Lake Superior is only a short drive North of Downtown leaving you minutes away from waterfalls, and beaches. Our area has a multitude of different types of trails (hiking, biking, cross country, snowmobile, ATV) many just steps from your front door. Electric car chargers are also available in the downtown area making this the perfect place to charge while you stay. Our large parking lot accommodates your enclosed trailer parking for all your toys you bring to enjoy the outdoors. The Green Room features local Upper Peninsula decor and custom furniture. A large King Size bed in the master with workspace and 2 sleeper sofas in the living room for the kids or friends. Come enjoy the peace and quiet our area has to offer while also benefiting from the amenities of being right downtown.

Locks

Our stay in Ironwood was wonderful. The only trouble we had was with the door. We did not get any instructions prior to arrival so had to call for code. Very prompt with getting back to us. There were no instructions on locking the door so our room was not locked when we were out.

Clean and convenient

Great apartment so close to everything - a walk to the coffee shop or dinner is super convenient! The apartment is clean and tidy with everything you need for a couple night stay! Communication with the host was superb and easy coded check in all made it a perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The room was very homie and we loved that we could bring our dog along. Wonderful location! There was a walking path near by to take our dog and we could easily walk to get coffee and lunch near by.

Ironwood Visit

I booked last minute and communication was prompt and accommodating. The property is centrally located to shops, historic sites, bars/restaurants and outdoor activities. Clean & well maintained. Nice extra touches (games, coffee). Very pleasant.

Great find in downtown Ironwood

I stayed here for a couple nights while in town for Ironwood Festival and a birthday party. The exterior of the building is not impressive but don't be put off by that, what you will find is that the second level apartment is large, welcoming, and extremely well-appointed. Wifi, air conditioning, and Roku TV all worked great. I didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have whatever one would need for cooking and eating in, and the king bed in the roomy bedroom was very comfortable. Downtown Ironwood is small and you can easily walk to any restaurant, shop, bar, point of interest, etc. -- highly recommend Cold Iron Brewery, which is a 2 minute walk. This place is a real find and I will look forward to staying here again in the future!

Ironwood home

This is our go to place everyone time we go up to Ironwood to visit family. It’s always clean, welcoming, feels like home. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and the brewery!

Great Place for the Area

We loved the place. It was clean, very well kept, and had everything we needed. It was easy to walk around town and had a nice parking area. I would have given 5 stars but the furnace wasn't working and it got pretty cold over the weekend. Otherwise all was great.

Above and beyond my expectations!

I was delighted by the property and the attention to detail. All the amenities you will need are there, including adorable doggie welcome basket and locally made candy and handmade welcome card. Amazing and thoughtful.

Great stay

This place was great! Easy to find, the owner had automated emails full of useful info, and the condo was clean and comfortable. The only snags were a remote without batteries and the air conditioner in the bedroom wasn't working to cool much, but the AC in the main part of the condo was strong! We'd definitely come back next time we're in town!

Clean, comfortable and quiet

We had a brief stay, but we really enjoyed how clean this apartment was. Our kids enjoyed the board games and all the extra space in the living area. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet, would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, inviting, settled right in

The green room was just as described. It was bright and clean and full of amenities. There were games and coloring books (with crayons and colored pencils) for the kids. The laundry is free! And super clean. We cooked a full breakfast, made lunches to go, and hit the waterfalls, trails, and beaches. The apartment was a perfect and comfortable place to come back to to check for ticks (gross), shower, and relax! We recommend staying here!

Nice place to stay

The stay was nice. Had a hard time trying to get access to the place. When I finally was able to get in touch with the property manager he said the auto email didn’t send. But once I was able to get in, everything was smooth sailing.
