Settle in & relax! Our condo is located right on the Three Nines Golf Course in Welches, Oregon. There's limitless fun to be had in the Mt. Hood forest and surrounding wilderness areas. Just a short drive up the mountain is multiple ski resorts offering world class skiing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing... the list goes on! When you're all done for the day, cozy up by the wood-burning fire place in the winter, or open the back slider in the summer and watch the golfers and wildlife.

Great location for skiing. The apartment has everything needed for a short stay. The Christmas tree is a nice touch.

Amenities. A chair in the bedrooms; bath mats, not pieces of rugs; luggage racks; decent sized bath towels; tissue in the bathrooms; down or faux down pillows. All little, relatively inexpensive things that would really enhance the stay. And put it on an equal footing with other nice vrbo’s in the area.

It was fine, but was lacking some of the accommodations we’re used. However, it was a lower price range than what we typically stay at. It was an older unit, so the shower was small and linens were moderate. It worked for the one night we were in town. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Great property and location. Very comfortable with our only complaint being no central air, as advertised. It was warmer than normal, which was unexpected, and no central air made it miserable. Kasey was very accommodating and brought over a portable AC unit. The issue with that, high maintenance and it could not be ran while we were out. Would have rated 5 star in cooler weather.

Wonderful cozy snow getaway

We were so pleased with our stay - the condo was well appointed and spacious with 2 beds/2 baths and a full kitchen. The fireplace was the best! It was so nice to curl up in evenings after fun-filled days playing in the snow, and plenty of wood was provided upon our arrival. The host's instructions for navigating to and accessing the condo were spot on and easy to follow, and the carport was a nice bonus. Adding to the ambiance was a record player and several classic albums, which was a real treat. We look forward to staying here again!

Our Welches stay

The condo was wonderful, but there were a few small issues. It was very hot the day we arrived and we ran the air conditioning unit for a couple hours. At a certain point it tripped the circuit breaker. However, we easily found the box in the kitchen and reset it. There were not further problems with it. We found that that the soap recepticle in the dishwasher sticks. We left it open so that the soap would dispense and dishes would get clean. We found quite a few dishes in the cupboards that were not clean so I think previous occupants may not have noticed this and just put them away without looking too closely. Finally, my husband noticed that the bathroom floor in the master suite was quite dirty. The rest of the place seemed clean and we were very comfortable there. We enjoyed the deck in the mornings.

Mt Hood visit

Overall this property is great. I drive back up to Timberline Lodge but the location of the property is nice, would be a bit hard to find if dark, but the views from back were nice and peaceful.

Some Challenges

The condo was beautiful and clean. Great location. Owner is a great communicator. Very thorough with outstanding and rapid follow-up. Condo is roomy and well laid out. A slight negative is that it is advertised as air conditioned, but it only has one portable AC unit. It is not hooked up to remove the hot exhaust air or the compressor drippings. Unit was not adequate due to the exhaust hot air. Due to allergies we could not open windows, so the unit was hot. We had multiple plumbing issues from our first night that were insinuated that we caused. Four adults and a toddler had to share the master shower for a week. All we did was eat, shower, and sleep there. We didn't do anything to cause plumbing problems. Under arbitration with VRBO. The issues appear to have been taken care of, and that will make this an outstanding place to stay. The owner will see to it!

Nice property

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely view on the golf course. Close to everything you need. The only drawback for me was not enough lighting in the living room for reading a book (not online) or doing anything that requires good light. But certainly not a deal breaker. We highly recommend this property.

Location was amazing, near hiking trails, wineries, and breweries. The scenery was incredible and it was a very peaceful and quiet area. Also, the condo was fantastic - well stocked and comfortable. Overall very restful and enjoyable.
