A Visit Home

We had a very nice stay at Patricia's VRBO guest home in Logansport, Indiana. I was very nice to come home to a comfortable home after our day's adventures. Everything was in good condition.

Clean and comfortable, in a nice neighborhood. I accidentally got us locked out and the host very responsive and helpful.

Home Away From Home

Home was very clean and close to everywhere we needed to be for the next day. Quiet location as stated in the posting, and very easy to get in and out of the driveway. Beds were comfortable and fairly new looking. Overall we would stay at this location again in the future. Thank you Patricia for offering a clean & safe place to stay while we were in town. The Williams family.

Relaxing and Clean

The stay was great. We arrived and got checked in with no problem. Instruction for everything was laid out around the home some people may find that overkill but I dont. Dishwasher failed the first day but owner had it replaced before even had to eat again or do dishes. Area is super nice and quiet. Riverwalk and local eateries are very nice. We were going to do the more stuff but our schedule was tight for the stay

Funeral Trip

Older home with only one bathroom. One bathroom doesn't work well with 5 people. We didn't use the home much other than to sleep. Third bedroom needs a new bed. The second bedroom bunkbeds were old.

I agree one bathroom could cause challenges to a large group however the listing clearly states that there is one bathroom. I suggest next time you travel to read the descriptions more closely. Thank you for the suggestion of replacing the bed in the third room. I will look into it. However the twin beds are new. Perhaps not the type you prefer. I’m sorry you were here under such sad circumstances and glad you all made it home safely.

Great place and very informative

The property had trash bags, dishwasher detergent and laundry pods which was a nice touch - plus she left spices, coffee and a few snacks. Nice touches. There is not a filtered water dispenser or ice maker but plenty of ice trays. The signage of expectations posted in many of the rooms was helpful but a bit much. We saw deer on the backyard - cool to see. It appeared to be a quiet neighborhood other than quite a bit of traffic on the road in front of the house. Not a problem - just be careful pulling out of the driveway. Definitely would consider staying there again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. You happened to be there when 4-H fair week was getting set up. Normally there is very little traffic except for two weeks in mid-July. The few signage I have is a necessary evil to ensure understanding of the home functions. I’m glad you enjoyed the stocked kitchen and the snacks! We welcome you back whenever you’re in town again.

Signs

Signs Signs everywhere a sign. Too many signs in each room about what you can and cannot do. It was very rude and my sisters complained about them all weekend. One by the toilet so when you sat down it was right in your face. Remove the signs an put you info in a binder for tenants to read

Thank you for your feedback. There is only one sign in each; the bathroom, one bedroom and living room. There are a couple in the kitchen. These are a necessary part of providing information about the particulars of the home to guests who probably won’t read inside a binder. I’m sorry your sisters found them distracting. I trust that their stay was enjoyable otherwise.
