During the summer months, you can go for a swim in crystal clear waters or go for a canoe or kayak tour (All equipement provided at no extra cost)
During the winter months, you can Ice skate (when conditions allow for it) or walk around the lake. Residents groom a lake long skating rink/path.

Amazing stay and an amazing view

Waking up in the morning to see the stunning view to the lake really made my day. The beds were super soft and comfortable and the fireplace kept us nice and cozy during the day. I would really recommend staying here.

Beautiful spot

We had a great time staying here despite the weather. The description should probably reflect the fact that there are 2 full bathrooms, not 2 full and 2 half bathrooms. The host was very attentive and helpful.

Fantastic stay, Perfect host

We stayed there to visit the f1 race. Super location, friendly host. House was perfect for our party. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, washing machine and tumble dryer, fully equipped kitchen. And wonderful view. Even sailed with the canoes. In short, definitely worth repeating for us

Wonderful stay

This property was clean, had many amenities, great beds and linen, quality furniture. We really enjoyed the spa and the frozen lake where we skated, cross-country skied and walked around everyday. The neighbors use small vehicules to plow a path around the lake for a total of a 5 km trail. The owner was available and helpful. Easy to drive to and from Montreal, close to a main road. Loved it!

Beautiful property on a great lake. Lots of space to hang out inside and outside, and has all the extras you would want. Quite a nice and practical kitchen too (I've been to some chalets with a kitchen that looks good in pictures but is kind of awkward to use).We had a few minor issues. The sheets on one bed smelled a bit odd (doritos?) but it was just the one, and it was easy to wash the sheets in the excellent laundry machines there. We also had a problem with the hot tub. The water level was a bit low when we arrived (just below the top of the highest jets, which I believe is not recommended). I asked Anthony if I could add a little bit with the hose, and did so after he said I could. Once that was done, I noticed some spa test strips, and tested the water just to confirm it was all good, but it was way off. Could be the strips were not working right, but they gave the expected result on the tap water, so we just decided not to use the tub.Anthony was always quick to respond, easy to deal with, and we had a great time at the property.

Great Chalet!The location of the property is lovely, with views of the lake from all 3 floors. Me, my wife, and two teenagers spent a week at 'The Sanctuary' and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dock gets sun in the early part or the day and shade in the latter. We fished and swam most days. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and used the bbq several times. Under 3 hours drive from Ottawa. The host responded promptly to questions and was pleasant to deal with. Would stay again.

Outstanding

The cottage was beautiful inside and out. Very well maintained with nothing broken or wobbly. The spa was in pristine condition. There were plenty of dishes, pots/pans, cutlery etc. The lake was beautiful and the dock was set up with chairs and a little table. We had coffee there a couple of mornings and could see and hear a loon - amazing.

Peaceful lakefront retreat

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this beautiful lakefront cottage. The views of the water were beautiful from all 3 floors. We especially enjoyed waking up in the very comfortable king sized bed overlooking the lake. The spa with its sheltered location a few steps from the house was a treat. We were thrilled to have access to the double kayak and spent a few hours touring the lake, being serenaded by a pair of loons! Between the bbq and the well-equipped kitchen, we were able to cook what we wanted. Everything was perfect!

A lovely relaxing week

We were a group of 3 couples in their 50s and we had a great stay. The house is well equipped and provides enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hot tub was a definite plus since it was cool for part of our stay. We brought our own individual kayaks and didn't use the canoe and double kayak provided at the house. The decks landscaping made enjoying the outside particularly enjoyable. It shows that the owners care and are continually making improvements to the property. Definitely recommend!

Peaceful get away

We went to enjoy family time as we celebrated my husband's retirement. There was plenty of place for us to eat, play games, watch tv or just relax. The lake carried our stress away. Kayaking was fun. This home was everything that we expected and hoped for and more. I shreaked like a child when I saw the master bedroom. Heaven. Thank you Anthony for this wonderful experience. It is not our last visit to your beautiful sanctuary

We (2 couples in our 50s) loved the view and the comfortable rooms for hanging out after our busy days. The location is convenient to Mont Tremblant, Sentier des Cimes and the waterfall trails in Wardon. Drinking coffee in the dock was lovely, and the hot tub was relxing. We appreciated Anthony's helpfulness and responsiveness. We highly recommend this!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Chertsey. The house was very nice and very clean. Plenty of room for all to be together and for quiet time as well. The lake was beautiful! Loved sitting on the dock and reading. Anthony was very responsive to the couple of questions we had. I highly recommend.

Bel endroit sur le bord d'un lac facile d'accès. Nous n'avons pas utilisé les embarcations qui étaient beaucoup trop grosses et sales (canot 2 places et kayak 2 places). Il aurait été apprécié d'avoir des embarcations individuelles. Les accessoires étaient aussi pêle-mêle dans le cabanon et encore une fois, pas très propres. Le quai offrait beaucoup de places pour s'asseoir. Les installations extérieures étaient intéressantes: place pour le feu, gazebo sur la véranda (bien que les moustiquaires ne se fermaient pas!), plusieurs endroits pour s'asseoir. Toutes les chaises étaient très sales par contre. L'intérieur était bien décoré, un air climatisé dans chacune des deux chambres du 2e étage, grand salon, cuisine relativement bien équipée, deux salles de bain avec douche. Le lit de la grand chambre était très mou et l'éclairage dans les chambres était déficient. L'entrée pour se stationner est très difficile d'accès et il est facile d'y rester pris avec la voiture. Il serait utile qu'elle soit pavée ou que l'inclinaison soit corrigée. Somme toute un bon séjour avec quelques petits désagréments n'ayant pas trop affecté le tout!

Superbe endroit ! Nous avons adorés l’emplacement. Très beau lac propre et avons appréciés les embarcations mis à notre disposition . Pour ce qui est de la maison en general .. manque d’entretien extérieur.. toiles d’araignées dans les fenêtres, terrain pas entretenu, gazon pas fait ! Saleté dans le fond du spa ! Meuble de jardin pas nettoyés! Mais .. bon.. nous avons passés un excellent séjour malgré tout !

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce superbe chalet. L’annonce et les photos sont fidèles à la réalité. Anthony a toujours répondu aimablement et rapidement. Tout est équipé, vaisselle, cuisine, bois pour le foyer, serviettes, … Très agréable moment !

Perfect vacation on a lake

Anthony was very frendly and cooperative. The cottage is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood, cose to groceries if needed. The small boat and kayak were enjoyed by all of our family. There is a whirlpool. The house is big well designed and well mentained. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. I would like to thank Anthony for the nice stay my family had. We would recommend this property to anyone!
