I stayed here over New Years to have a quiet anniversary with my partner; it was exactly what we wanted. The studio itself is located on a larger property; there is a barn a bit aways to its side and there is also a wedding venue a decent ways away, which I was a little worried about. But because it was the holidays, the venue was completely empty and we did not see anyone else nearby, which was great for us.
The host left us a small gift basket for our anniversary which was very sweet and much appreciated!
The kitchenette is a little small but we managed to cook several meals together with little issue. There is no microwave or oven, but there is a 2-burner stove and plenty of cookware provided. Washing dishes was a little rough as there was not a great space to let them dry, but we just hand dried them when we needed. There was also a Keurig and kettle with coffee and tea options available.
The King bed is super comfortable and very spacious, and I really liked the candle-style lights on the walls. Across the bed is the loveseat and ottoman, and a TV mounted on the wall above them. It is a smart TV which made it easy for us to access Netflix and watch some movies.
My favorite part was the rainfall style showerheads in the shower. There are two overhead rainfall heads, but one of the knobs can be toggled to direct water through a handheld showerhead instead.
Lastly I really like the style of the decor! Everything felt very classy and pretty, and it felt nice to stay there. On our last night we actually also saw a few fireworks from distant fireworks shows too!
I highly recommend the Garden House; it was an awesome trip for me!
