The cozy cabin was perfect for our stay it was 8 minutes to the wedding venue we attended. The porch was great to have coffee on. Felt very comfortable.

Comfy, warm, and amazing! Very good spot to stay if you’re going skiing at Gore or just enjoying ADK. Will book again in spring/summer!

This house had everything we needed! Lots of towels, every kitchen tool you might want, and a stocked spice rack. When we had trouble with the heat the owner was very responsive and helped us get it going again. We had a gorgeous view of the the peak foliage out the big bay window, and we made s'mores at the gas fireplace on the deck. Our two young kids loved the bunk beds. We spent our whole weekend at the ADK Experience Museum, which was just fantastic, and we stopped at the Minerva public beach on our way out of town, which had a playground and beautiful beach.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was nice and remote enough with plenty to see within a half hour drive. We loved Gore Mt.!

A great place to stay

Was as advertised. Directions were clear and easy to understand. Would recommend to any anyone wanting to stay in the area. Great views as well.

Very cozy cabin

We had such a nice stay! There was an issue with the heat when we checked in but the host called me back immediately and we got it worked out. Very nicely stocked with kitchen items for cooking. The cabin is so cozy and comfy. A nice location too.

A nice little house with a wonderful view of the mountain. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We travel a lot, but this is the first time we've received such respectful treatment from our hosts.There's a lake nearby where you can fish and swim in the summer. There are many interesting places to visit. We'd be happy to come back.

Cozy Getaway

I came up here for a nice weekend getaway with some friends. Despite sitting in the middle of the Adirondacks, the house is in a great location for everything you might want, whether you're looking for peace & quiet or a quaint downtown area. There are plenty of hiking and fishing spots nearby, but the town over is only a 15-minute drive, with a general store that's only 5 minutes for quick things. The house was quite spacious on a nice property that offers privacy from the road despite neighbors on both sides. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a mountain getaway, regardless of season.

Cozy cabin close to trails!

We had such a nice time staying at the cabin on a sunny but chilly fall weekend this October. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and has everything you need for preparing a meal, and the deck is so nice with plenty of seating. We had a great time heading to the recommended local coffee shop 9mile, getting pickles and fresh bread at the farmers market, cooking dinner at the cabin, having breakfast on the deck, hiking the trail right down the road (and finding so many cool mushrooms!), and watching movies in the living room. It was the perfect little weekend getaway. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We’ll be back!
