This was a perfect location for our girls weekend in Salem. One of the beds has a serious slant, and the pillows could use refreshing, but overall we found the property beautiful and welcoming. Elina and Jack were pleasant and allowed us an early checkin.

We had a great stay the host was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. It was in a quiet suburb easily walkable to local restaurants and cafes. Park a few blocks away. VRBO was right between Boston airport and Salem. The only down side was we didn’t realize the VRBO main floor was on the second level. So carrying our bags up and down was a little bit of a collage but we managed. Would definitely rent again.

What an awesome place to stay to visit Boston. Nice quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and had a nice big kitchen. Elina, our host made sure we had a keurig. We had some warm days but, had plenty of ACs. The town has some great restaurants. Had some salads from Ellie’s Pizza that were excellent. The train station is right down the street. Very easy access to the Boston area. Can’t thank our host Elina enough.

The hosts were wonderful and communication was excellent. This is such a lovely home; it's so bright and welcoming. The location is perfect. Lots of options for food and transportation nearby. We loved our stay and look forward to our next visit.

The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a nice neighborhood. The host left us a complimentary bottle of wine and great recommendations for food spot. Would absolutely stay again!

Great, safe location. Walking distance to many restaurants and the train to take into Boston. Beautiful kitchen, fantastic linens and comfortable bed will make this an enjoyable stay for you.

We thought the condo was lovely - well appointed amenities, great neighborhood, very quiet, beds comfortable, very close to anything we would need, excellent restaurants, shopping, commuter rail, etc. We walked to and took the commuter rail into Boston each day of our stay and while we knew nothing about riding a rail as none of us had ever done so, the conductors were very helpful and kind. The hosts were very quick to help with any questions we had as well.Just a word of caution - we knew there were stairs but were not aware how difficult they might be for older citizens, such as ourselves. Three of us are in our mid 70's and one late 60's. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we were inside and settled, we were very cautious on the stairs for fear of falling.

Great location for family reunion

Nice, clean, comfortable property for 6 adults. Worked out perfectly with walking distance restaurants and grocery store. Beautiful park nearby where we took graduation pictures. Thanks for a wonderful stay with wonderful memories.

The property was beautiful and spacious. The common areas were wonderful to bring everyone together comfortably while playing games. Many wonderful things to do within walking distance of the property and fell in love with the food at Ciao Amici. Many stairs so may not be the prime candidate for those who have knee problems otherwise I highly recommend the property to all.

Perfect for us

This VRBO was lovely and perfect for four adults and a year old baby. Kitchen was well stocked. Livingroom was roomy and comfortable. Bedrooms were great! We had opportunity to walk around Wakefield and enjoy the town. Great areas to be outside. We would definitely stay here again!

Wakefield graduation weekend

Lovely neighbohood. Beautiful, immaculate home. Easy access to charming, walkable town. Great location for graduation in Medford. Quick drive to Boston. Enjoyed game at Fenway park. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!

Cozy Stay in Wakefield

We had a wonderful stay in downtown Wakefield. This is a second story unit on a quiet side street near downtown. Plenty of space, very clean, modern appointments, well-stocked, and surrounded by everything we needed. Restaurants, pharmacy, parks, and a lake were all within walking distance. The hosts were wonderful, and we’ll definitely book again the next time we are in the area!

Perfect Fall Getaway

We chose this house for our stay to visit Salem the week before Halloween and it was perfect. The street the home is on was like something out of a picturesque fall movie. The neighborhood was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The home is located just a couple blocks from downtown Wakefield and in walking distance to shops and great restaurants. We also loved it was only a 25 min drive to Salem. The stairs at the entry are steep but we were able to navigate them. Overall, highly recommend this lovely property!

Great weekend getaway

We were four friends meeting up to attend a reunion with other friends of 40+ years. The house is a beautifully renovated property one block from Main St. Wakefield. The property was close to shops, restaurants and the town lake. It had everything we needed. Communication from the host was excellent. I would caution those with mobility issues to consider an alternative as the stairs were steep and narrow. I would highly recommend this property.

Walk-up

Very nice location and home. I was with 3 older adults who use canes and the listing wasn’t clear, to me, that the main level was a narrow, spiral staircase up. That was difficult for them to manage.

Quaint neighborhood, Kind hosts

The owners are quick to respond, offered great suggestions for food and activities, and greeted us with a complimentary bottle of wine! The neighborhood was such a great surprise. We chose the property because it was close to what we wanted to do and had enough room for our family of six, but it's nestled in a historic neighborhood close to the lake and downtown with great restaurants within walking distance. (After dealing with Boston traffic, it offered such a relaxing reprieve.) (My only concern would be for families with small children or elderly. There are steep steps to manage and should be a consideration.) For our family of teenagers and adults, it was a great stay!

Beautiful large condo in a quiet neighborhood

A beautiful, large and well-equipped condo, in a quiet neighborhood, less than 30 minutes from Boston by car (in non-peak hours). Walking distance from a small supermarket, the train station and a lake. Parking spot next to the house. Communication with the owners was very quick and smooth. The listing is accurate, it does have steep stairs but these were not a problem for us (with 3 teenage kids). The apartment is very pretty and nicely designed, and the beds are very comfortable. The apartment is not perfect - the heating is uneven between the rooms, and the water pressure in the showers is not very strong, but its advantages far outweigh its disadvantages.
