This place is beautiful and clean, there were a few minor issues like the glasses needed re-washed and the grill was very dirty, we did not barbecue due to this. We did not love that the host stayed right next door.

There were 6 of us, including 4 kids ages 6-12, and this house was plenty for what we needed. There was plenty of space and fun things to do inside and outside of the house. The view is magnificent and driving the roads is an escape from the hustle and bustle.Heather was a great host, very friendly and prompt with her responses. All the information and expectations are provided from the start. Great Appalachian Trail lookouts and an underground cavern close by. Highly recommend staying here for a get away!

Great Escape Lodge was perfect!

We came here to have a nice relaxing time in the mountains and it was just that! We had 6 people ( 2 kids ages 3 and 8) and it was perfect! The view was amazing and the house came stocked with more appliances/kitchen equipment then most Vrbos we have stayed in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mother Daughter Getaway

We were looking for a property to share a relaxing mother daughter getaway. We found the home to be clean and comfortable and welcoming. The deck was especially nice. Area is very quiet and rural and close to great hiking trails and beautiful mountains.
