Older house located in a good area, very pleased with the cleanliness, easiness of check in and any questions we had. Will definitely stay here in the future!!

You were our first VRBO and I'm glad you liked the accommodations and look forward to seeing you back next year. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with VRBO hosting! The house is in a consistent state of upgrade and improvements, so it should even be better next time.

Loved the place had plenty room

We. Had the best Of time. All family loved place It was beautiful days Thepool the kids really enjoyed. Couple of people enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you for the good time

country get away

Great property for family and pets. Lots of room outside for games and set around the fire at night. Pool was a nice addition but owner still working at repairs to the area. House had plenty of space for the nine in our group

Sleep 15!!

This large home is located just outside of downtown A Bay. We were very pleased with the house, the pool(heated for a little more$$), the hot tub, and the little extras that made the study even better.littleextras

Beautiful house not all amenities

Positives: There was ample space for our large crew. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and outside hot tub, fire pit and basketball hoop. The breakfast nook is beautiful, large outdoor seating as well as grill and griddle. Plenty of extra linens and towels.The hosts were friendly and responsive. The negatives: The indoor hot tub was out of order and didn’t sound like they were planning to fix. I was really looking forward to soaking inside while my toddler slept. It was in the listing that there were bicycles and Kayaks to use, there were not. My son brought his kayak planning we could all go kayaking together, so we were very disappointed. There was a major ant infestation in one of the bedrooms but this seemed to be a new problem, they put down a couple traps, but will hopefully get an exterminator soon. The owners were responsive and seemed to be taking care of it. Overall a nice property close to many attractions, just not completely accurate in their listing. The owners insisted on meeting us there for check in for a walk through. So if you want a contactless check in without meeting anyone you might want to be aware of this. Personally I would’ve preferred a book with the list of rules instead.

Thank you for the review, I'm glad that you and your family had a lovely time at our house. To address a couple of the points made so others reading this can understand better. 1. The ants were limited to the far bedroom. It's a country house, and incursions can happen. We did address this after this booking. 2. The indoor hot tub was never advertised. We inadvertently had left a photo of it in the bathroom where it resides. This photo has been removed. This hot tub was a leftover from the previous owners and we haven't moved it out yet. There is a 6-person perfectly functioning hot tub located outside next to the house, with easy sliding door access from three of the bedrooms. Great for night time star viewing! 3. And we do not offer contactless check ins, as we like to meet our guests, and walk them through the house and it's amenities. Generally we find this personal contact and walkthrough is well received by our guests. Any mentions of kayaks and bicycles have been removed. We did offer those, but because previous guests never used them, we moved them to another location. Thank you for pointing this out. Thanks for staying at the Alex Bay Ranch!

This was our second visit to the Alex Bay Ranch and we came back because it really accommodated our extended family of 10, plus dogs! They're was plenty of room for the dogs to run in the yard as well as room for the kids to retreat to when they'd had enough of each other! The pool was a great asset and we used it every day. We love the frogs who live in and around it! This house is close to the Otter Bay Nature Preserve where we could go hiking. The drive in was just down the road, so the parents left the kids with the grandparents and everyone enjoyed that. Downtown A Bay is a quick 5 minute drive. It was a great vacation!
