The Garden Cottage House with stunning large pool/jacuzzi, baby grand piano

From this centrally located country home and garden, you can unwind and enjoy small family get-togethers. You will find surprises at every turn as it is entirely equipped with every possible amenity that one could hope for and more.
The gorgeous park-sized pool and spa is superb. The jacuzzi is large enough for small children to swim! The pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, jasmine vines, and baby fruit trees. The heating of the jacuzzi and/or pool is not included in the base price but varies by season. Please ask for details. A BBQ is available if you are more of an outdoor gourmet! Enjoy the garden views of the sunset poolside or make s’mores at the fire pit. There is a children's playground outdoors with a cozy toddler swing, regular swing and a trapeze bar. There is plenty of space indoors for play and activities. Games, cards, juggling, puzzles for all ages, an oversized smart t.v., a large array of books, cookbooks, etc... Adults and supervised children can play piano on the stunning electric baby grand piano. This property feels like a private oasis in the middle of the city.
A private gate encloses the front yard at night and the large back yard is completely enclosed . An outdoor Ring/Doorbell camera faces the entrance/entry pathway for extra security. A smart lock allows you to have your own personal entry code. All night "partying" and in/out guests will be asked to leave. We welcome caring folks to enjoy the special beauty of this home and the stunning backyard with a diverse array of flora and fauna. Special events by permission only with possible event fee. Ask about non-shedding tiny pets with pet fee by permission on occasion. No allergens may be introduced. Thank you.

Very happy, exceeded expectations. Hope to stay again! Felt like a cross between an amazing bed and breakfast and a resort. Had everything we needed, and so restful and beautiful place. Beautiful backyard. Can’t say enough. Hope to stay again!

We had an amazing time. Ginger is an amazing host. We arrived a little early and was able to meet her and her daughter. Not only were they so accommodating but they are just genuinely nice people. The property was well stocked and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and amazing. Thank you so much Ginger for such a lovely stay. We will definitely stay with them again.

Joseph & Ginger went way over and beyond to make our small Baby Shower here PERFECT! Cannot recommend higher! Everything was beautifully appointed, well stocked. We did not want to leave!

My family fully enjoyed our stay here. Both the inside and the backyard of the house were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning indoors and having our own private pool with shaded areas to cool down in the summer heat! The house is centrally located in the Sacramento area, near many restaurants and stores. Our hostess, Ginger, was friendly and accommodating and quick in responding to my messages. We would definitely rent this house again. 10/10

We had our annual sisters trip and it was amazing. Joe and Ginger were wonderful host. They were there for anything we needed. The house was comfortable, clean , and absolutely beautiful. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time outdoors because the weather was perfect but most of all the backyard was amazing. We spent a lot of time in the pool and sauna. The house was very well equipped. We will definitely come back again.

It was a beautiful property with an outstanding setting. We had a few questions and the owner was right on top of it helping us out. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. It was very quiet and serene.

Beautiful Property. Very clean, great pool and beautiful yard. Everything was beautiful and loads of extras. Loads of games and books to read. House is on a community lot but is easy to access. Would stay here again.

This property is worth the money paid. The pool and spa are huge and well maintained. We are very pleased, my family members from around the Sacramento area were very happy and visited during the week we stayed and 14 came for a bbq, backyard party! Plenty of room and our dog loved it too

The home is a cozy cottage. Upon arriving the spa was ready and heated. The home was clean and comfortable. Favorite parts were the warm but roomy family room, spa and the large jet tub!

Our stay at the garden cottage was amazing!! Gingers attention to detail is something to see. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the pictures did not do her house justice. One of the best homes we have ever stayed at. Thank you Ginger!!

Ginger is a former teacher who loves kids, families & hosting. Ginger and Joseph were foster parents to a host of children and enjoy walks at the park across the street, entertaining people, playing pickle ball across the street, cooking and baking, and going to theatre productions of our own children!
We have lived in the Sacramento area most of our lives and enjoy giving back to our community. We enjoy treating our guests and making them feel like they are in a special place, a beloved home away from home.

Ginger goes out of her way to create a space for you that is cozy & beautiful with EVERY possible amenity you can think of so guests can truly feel at home without any worry about what they may have forgotten to pack. Special soaps, lotions, cute bedding, blankets, play areas all in a setting that is meticulously organized and clean.
Guests have commented that Ginger should be an interior designer and surely she shops a lot to make her guest house stunningly beautiful.
