Recently renovated with upgraded amenities, appliances, and furniture, this exquisite two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo offers a harmonious blend of modern convenience and authentic Hawaiian charm. Plus, with a included parking space, exploring paradise couldn’t be easier.

THE SPACE
Amidst some of the finest hotels in Waikīkī, you'll be situated in a well-maintained and secure environment. Infused with aloha, Mauka Makai beckons you with its unparalleled comforts and thoughtful amenities. Walk to the nearby Walls Beach, a bodyboarding hotspot, or swim in the walled-in waters of Prince Kūhiō Beach, both a block away.

Our elegantly outfitted condo boasts a kitchen suitable for a culinary enthusiast, inviting you to unleash your creativity, when not dining at the thousands of restaurant choices within a short walk or drive. With 860 square feet of living space, complimentary in-unit laundry facilities, and whisper-quiet air conditioning in every room, your stay promises both indulgence and convenience. Relax and unwind on the spacious lanai, savoring your morning coffee amidst the gentle ocean breeze. The condo has three dining areas: the counter (3), the table (4-6) and the lanai (4).

The space within Mauka Makai is designed to cater to your every need. Scandia Towers was originally built for long-term residence, making it feel far more spacious for the same square footage as other units in Waikīkī. Sink into the embrace of memory foam mattresses on every bed, after a day of adventure, awakening refreshed and rejuvenated. The large bedroom offers a versatile layout, accommodating various sleeping arrangements (one king or up to three twin beds), while the small bedroom offers a queen-size bed. Even the sleeper-sofa in the living room sports a full-sized memory foam mattress. The unit is also equipped with a premium twin-size inflatable mattress and a play pen for the youngest people in your life.

Both bedrooms offer ergonomic chairs and sit/stand adjustable desks, intended for those traveling for work with the family, or with colleagues. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances including full-sized fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. A coffee maker, blender, stand mixer, air fryer, electric kettle, rice maker, and toaster are available for your convenience along with pots, pans, dish sets, cooking and dining utensils.

Our commitment to your comfort extends beyond the walls of our condo. Explore Waikīkī and O‘ahu Beaches with ease, as we provide beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, body boards, and snorkeling gear for your convenience. After a day of adventure, immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture with our curated library of Hawaiian books or play popular games, and enjoy the local artwork adorning every room.

Within one city block, you’ll find: 3 ABC stores (including a premium store right next door), 2 Starbucks, a Domino’s with sit-down or pickup, Island Vintage Shave Ice and Acai, Arancino di Mare (Italian), Mac 24/7 (breakfast and beyond), two roof-top bars (Deck and Tiki’s), a sports bar (Lulu’s), Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, Denny’s Restaurant, 3 Biki bike stations, moped/scooter rentals around the corner, the Zoo, beach volleyball, the Kapahulu pier, and Kapi‘olani Park. Within a mile are countless restaurants and shops—all that Waikīkī has to offer.

In addition to traditional taxis, both Uber and Lyft operate seamlessly within the city, and our efficient bus system offers extensive coverage across the entire island, including to and from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Worry-free parking will make renting a car more enjoyable if you’re seeking the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. And there are several car rental options within a few blocks (Enterprise, SIXT, Thrifty, and Avis) should you decide you only need a car for a few days.

GUEST ACCESS
As the condo is in a secure building, guests will require a security fob to enter the building and will be assigned an access code to enter the unit.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Shortly before you arrive, you'll be given a code to access the unit for the duration of your stay. A Lock box is located next to the resident manager's office in the basement where you will find a key fob for the building. Additional fobs are available upon request.

The parking stall is located in the far-left corner of the lower level. It’s marked LP. DO NOT PARK IN EMPTY STALLS OR YOU WILL BE TOWED. As the space is a bit tight, minivans (sliding doors) or smaller cars are recommended.

MISCELLANEOUS: The phone in the unit can be used to make calls to the mainland and Canada as well as admit guests into the building from the callbox outside the lobby. Mauka Makai is located in the resort zone area of Waikīkī, which allows short-term vacation rentals. State and county taxes are 13.25% TAT (Transient accommodation tax) and 4.71% GET (General excise tax).
