Cozy Modern Mountain Cottage

This Southwestern Modern Mountain Cottage welcomes you to the heart of Deer Creek Canyon 15 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater, 30 minutes to Denver, and just minutes from the nearest hiking/biking trails for the summer and easy access to I70 to hit the slopes during the winter months.

With countless updates and lots of love, we’ve been able to take what was once an abandoned house and turned it into a cozy home full of character tucked away in the peaceful foothills of the Rockies for others to experience and enjoy.

The hot tub has been broken and out of order since 2021, we do not advertise having a usable hot tub on our property.

Our home is nestled on over an acre of land tucked away in the foothills of the mountains. Please ensure that you are comfortable with wild life and an isolated, private getaway. We cannot control what animals live nearby our property and decide to pay a visit nor when they do! Embrace them and treat them with love. :)

Worked for what we needed and was nice to have more space than a hotel room. The deck on the back has some boards that were recently replaced and others could use replacing as there are some weak spots still where you feel your chair could go fall through. We also found that mice got into some dry goods like chips and granola bars that we left on the counter while we were sleeping so we ended up putting things like that in the fridge.

It was an easy drive to Red Rocks and we really appreciate being able to bring our dog. We enjoyed sitting outside on the various decks on three sides of the house. The kitchen was very nice, including the gas stove. Neither cell service company had coverage but the WiFi was great so we didn’t have any issues. We hope to stay again.

Wonderful mountain get away!

This was the perfect hub for my friend and In to stay for a girls trip involving hiking and a Red Rocks concert. Great location to unplug. This had everything we needed -2 beds, deck, fridge, easy access, lounge space, etc. I will definitely stay here again!

Lovely Stay in the Mountain Cottage.

My partner and I have stayed in many cabins / cottages around Colorado and this property was one of our favorites. Many times the place isn't as pretty as it seemed in photos or is less comfortable, not the case with our stay, we were very pleased on both front! The home was very well equipped, especially in the kitchen, and had very reasonable requests on clean up during check out.

What an adorable cabin!

It was such fun being at the cabin and watching the birds. It was near to Red Rocks, easy to get back to Denver to see the sights, yet out of the way in a lovely canyon. They put a lot of thought into the remodel and it shows!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

What a fantastic place! Clean, updated, awesome kitchen. Super comfortable beds! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the Outdoors. Thank you so much, we will definitely stay again!

Mountain getaway near Red Rocks

We loved our stay and would definitely come back. It was nice to be away from the city in the fresh air. The bed was very comfortable and we had no issues. It worked for what we needed for a quick weekend trip to go to a Red Rocks concert. Cute little towns nearby.

Perfect Little Cabin

This place was perfect for a long weekend getaway. It had everything you could have needed. It was decorated so cute although the bed was a little uncomfortable. Sophie was a wonderful host and she replied fast when we had any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Cute cottage away from hustle and bustle.

Cute place. Loved being away from the city. Quiet neighborhood. Close to redrocks. Loved spending time out on the deck listening to the creek and birds.
