Come relax and have fun at this lakefront dream house! Just a few steps from the deck with patio screen-house and large gas grill, and you find a sandy gradual shoreline, perfect for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking, with a large dock, if you choose to bring a boat. The house itself is perfectly set up for your friend and family gatherings with the large, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room area with gorgeous views of the lake. The sunroom also boasts an impressive 75 inch smart TV with surround sound if you want to boost your movie night to the next level! Downstairs in the walk out basement, there is a pingpong table, as well as a home gym. Other activities include, of course, campfires, badminton, and the town itself is great for fans of antiques and casino enthusiasts! Looking to book Saturday to Saturday rentals.

This lakefront home was a perfect match for us. The rooms were large and comfortable. An abundance of seating areas thoughout. Well appointed kitchen with all essential equipment. Excellent place for a family reunion. We spent two weeks here. Can't wait to come back..

We recently spent a week here. It was very dog friendly and we appreciated that very much. The house was huge so we had plenty of space to spread out, lots of TVs, in a good central location, and a nice quiet neighborhood. I was disappointed with the waterfront area. It was very overgrown with bushes and high grass which made getting onto the dock somewhat difficult. The railings on the deck didn't seem really secure and the gate to the side lawn was very rickety.

Fantastic spot on Thompson Lake!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Ken’s beautiful home on Thompson Lake. The house had everything we needed and is quite spacious and inviting for a family looking for some peace and quiet. Ken is a great host and I would absolutely rent his place again.

A perfect Thompson Lake family getaway! We enjoyed the views and bird watching from the deck. The pictures and description are accurate, and the house was just spotless in this well cared-for home. Lots of room for a family of five (two teens and three adults) plus one dog. A few aspects that a potential renter might not be able to tell from pictures alone is the impressive master suite upstairs with gorgeous views and tons of space. The owners placed swing gates on both ends of the deck which was helpful for keeping our water loving dog dry before entering the house (and away from water so he’d actually dry!). If you cook or grill you will not be disappointed. We relaxed on the water, read in the gazebo and sunroom, and drank coffee on the deck —there is just so much space and comfortable appointments for relaxing and gathering. The kayaks and floats were a plus. The location is great for putting in a boat at the marina nearby—just pay attention to the directions provided by property owner and you’ll do fine. The kids described their stay as “magical” and “magnificent”.

Lovely home on Lake Thompson

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at Ken’s home, very large home with room for everyone, kids , adults and dogs…the neighborhood was great, peaceful and folks very friendly. Front yard was perfect for games, and neighborhood very nice for bikes and walks.

A Peaceful Lake Vacation

Thompson Lake is a quiet place to enjoy kayaking, swimming, or sitting in the screened deck area reading and listening to the ducks on the water. On rainy days the house here was big enough for our large family to play board games together and also spread out to read or watch movies. This was a very relaxing place to stay!

Lake life

Wow stay at Ken’s property. Huge house and full second floor master suite with laundry. Dog friendly and that was really nice as we had our dog along for the visit. Hope to come back next year.

Great lakeside getaway

Ken’s property is lovely. There was enough room for three generations and dogs to relax and have a great time. The location on the lake is peaceful and lovely with good access to the deeper lake portion for watersports. Town is nearby for essentials like ice cream at Ricky Dee’s. We loved the hummingbirds, loons and ducks that frequented the area (and even had a bald eagle visitor!).We enjoyed use of the kayaks to explore the shoreline as well.

Family Vacation Thompson Lake Maine

Great place on the water for our small family gathering. Front lawn great for lawn games. Ample and comfortable sleeping accommodations, great 2nd floor master suite. Open kitchen dining and Livingroom. Enjoyed daily workout on the Tonal and Ping-Pong on a rainy day. Nice area for swimming. Great lake for boating and water sports. If you bring or rent a boat pay close attention to the provied chart. Had a great time, thank you....

The house was spacious and there was plenty of room for our group of 5 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. We had beautiful weather for kayaking. We weren't able to find paddles for the canoe, but luckily we had our own kayak paddles and used the canoe as a tandem kayak. The grill would not start when we tried to use it. In the kitchen, the lights over the island and over the kitchen table did not work. In retrospect, we should have contacted the host to let him know about those issues.

The house was a prefect size for the group we had (two adults - 4 teens) - everyone had space to relax but also be together. The lake was right out the door - the kayaks, canoe and rowboat were great addition and enjoyed. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. The neighborhood and lake were really quiet. Unfortunately we had some rainy days but we found some things to do in the area.
