Escape from everyday life during a visit to the Parc régional du Massif du Sud, a place where winter activities will delight the whole family; snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski-snowshoeing, fat bike, mountain skiing and many others. The pleasure will also be great in the summer with hiking, mountain biking, hebertism, bird watching and even fishing in the stream. Plan a moment for a stop at the Fromagerie Cassis et Mélisse, the Ferme du Vieux Chemin, the La Levée du Jour bakery or the Microbrasserie Frampton Brasse or even the famous Miller zoo, only few minutes from the chalet.



Stop your research, the chalet l'Ancestral is UNIQUE in its kind. Having preserved the historical aspect with an indescribable view of the private lake. You can access the lake during summer and also in winter time for skating!



The chalet l’Ancestral is ideal for a stay up to people. You will find 3 bedrooms; the first bedroom is located on the ground floor with 1 Queen bed, the second upstairs with 1 Queen bed and the third upstairs also with 1 double bed. Also, 1 sofa bed in the living room.



The living room area will charm with its huge windows and its wood fireplace, a TV and a DVD player. Be prepared because the chalet l'Ancestral has also kept a kitchen in the areas of yesteryear with a wood stove, a small stove and a fridge. A Keurig coffee maker is available to start the morning off right. A fondue stove (gas) as well as an electric fondue stove will be at your disposal during your stay. Although the ancestral cachet is prioritized, air conditioning is available.



It's the perfect opportunity to get together and chat around the table whether it's for lunch, dinner or after dinner during a board game competition. Let yourself be told the stories of the good old days, the decor of the chalet being conducive to activity.



In addition to a private dock, take advantage of other outdoor facilities; 2 kayaks for children, 2 kayaks for adults, 1 canoe and 1 paddle board. A fire area and two BBQ will only enhance your evenings.

Depending on the services applicable to the property, maintenance personnel may be present outside the chalet Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including for hot tub maintenance, groundskeeping, snow removal, or waste management. No indoor maintenance will be performed unless there is an emergency. Our team will work discreetly to avoid disturbing your stay. Your presence is not required.
