Our family had a wonderful stay here. The place was clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. The dock is great and the path down is steep but more manageable on the stone path.

Great place for families

This house was an amazing stay. Comfortable, right on the lake, and more than enough room and amenities for two families. An easy recommendation for anyone wanting to spend time in Prince Edward County.

Tanglewood was exactly what we needed for our week’s vacation- seclusion and a beautiful lake view, with Picton just 25 minutes away. We highly recommend renting e-bikes and riding a few hours on the Millennium Trail in Wellington. That was a lot of fun. The house itself has a great layout and we used every room - especially the deck and screened in porch. What really made it special though is the little lake house and dock. One of our boys camped out down there one night. And we caught some enormous fish off the dock - mostly largemouth bass and one big walleye. We let them go, so they’re in there! Thanks so much for a great stay. Lots of lasting memories.

Perfect weekend getaway for a group of friends

This property is as advertised. We stayed here as a friend group of 6 adults and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking tools and utensils, the screened in room is perfect for when the weather doesn't cooperate, and the board game cupboard was a great addition. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place with great view and water access. Spacious and cozy at the same time. Due to the drought, we had some water issues that were dealt with quickly by manager. Would definitely return!

Sweet roomy retreat

This property is a relaxing retreat, very quiet and isolated - perfect for a true break. It is spacious and welcoming with a wonderfully large kitchen and main bathroom, plus four bedrooms. Clearly a good place for families but great for a weekend away to PEC with friends. Would recommend - but the listing isn’t kidding about the steep drive and wall down to the water !

Lovely stay in lovely Prince Edward County

Had a great week with six members (all adults) of my family at Tanglewood. It has everything you could ever possibly want except a dishwasher, and that's what brothers are for, right? Stellar location. Lovely amenities. It was great and we hope to return.

Weekend in PEC

Tanglewood is a beautiful property. Our group had a wonderful weekend in Prince Edward County and loved coming back to its serene and quiet waterfront views. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a more secluded stay who doesn’t mind being a little further from the towns in the County. Thank you, Parker!

Lovely, spacious cottage

Stayed with a group of friends. Home is clean, modern and a great size. It has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful views and great dock. Highly recommend for a young family or group of friends. Path to the dock is quite steep so I would not recommend for elderly guests. However, there is an amazing deck that has a lovely view for relaxing instead.

Beautiful property exactly as described

We stayed 3 nights at this property and loved every moment. It is spotlessly clean, well-provisioned, has plenty of space, and absolute privacy. My mom and I spent an entire day enjoying the sunshine on the large deck. The place is so quiet that on one of the mornings, while making tea, my husband and I saw a deer walk across the property fearlessly. The owner is very responsive (thank you Parker!). I only wish we had more time to spend there. Definitely going back.

Lovely Bungalow

Lovely bungalow. Ample space for our 2 families (4 adults 3 teens). Beautiful view of sunset from deck overlooking the water. Love the big island in the well equipped kitchen. We appreciate finding pantry staples available to use. Also that the property owner is quick to respond to our messages. There is no dishwasher or laundry machines, which we didn’t mind as we only stayed a few days. Overall enjoyable stay.

Private and relaxing cottage

Amazing experience at this cottage, they had everything you needed and more (including propane bbq and ac to cool down), the space is well thought out that it’s spacious for cooking, the sun room that is fully screened that allows you to sit outside without being with the bugs, and the fire pit with seating. We were are family of 7 (18+) and still felt like there was enough space for everyone. We loved the board games available, the fire pit, the deck that was perfect for meals over looking the water, and private dock. The only things to consider is if you have bad knees the hill to the dock may be challenging and there is no dish washer, for our group neither of these were an issue for us. We would definitely come back!

My family and I recently enjoyed a long weekend at the Tanglewood cottage in Prince Edward county. The cottage was simply charming and fulfilled our expectations! There were eight of us and we had plenty of space for relaxation and fun. We could hang out on the spacious deck facing the lake or wander down to the dock for swimming and sunning ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed our meals on a huge dining table. We also made use of the barbecue and fire pit (for evening marshmallow roasts). Outside of our food, we had everything we needed at the Tanglewood. Our host, Parker, is very friendly and helpful and responded to any inquiries in a timely manner. I would go back to the Tanglewood and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely and quiet getaway.
