Sonoma Ranch Golf Course Hacienda - Featured in NM Magazine

This 2000 square foot vacation property is just a few minutes from the Sonoma Ranch club house and golf course and a pleasant walk to the excellent Sunset Grill for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails. This house was the Las Cruces featured property in the November issue of New Mexico Magazine.

Enter through the front gate into a beautiful walled courtyard with patio, fountain, mountain views, table, chairs, and patio umbrella.

The large open plan living area has floor to ceiling windows with views of the Organ Mountains, an entertainment center, comfortable leather furniture, ceiling fan, and gas fireplace.

The spacious kitchen has plenty of work space and all the equipment a cook would need for entertaining. There is a large bar and six bar stools.

The hand-crafted dining set comfortably accommodates eight people. There are double French doors that open to the large back patio and garden.

Two of the bedrooms have King size beds and doors to the back patio. The third bedroom has a Queen size bed. All three bedrooms have ceiling fans and walk in closets. Each bathroom has double sinks.

The large back walled garden features a fountain and Koi pond. The large covered patio has three ceiling fans, three separate sitting areas, and a dining table that that seats six people.

We have a wonderful manager who lives almost next door and will be there to help you with any questions or needs that may arise. Please feel free to phone us at with any questions about the house or Las Cruces.

Great family Space

This property was perfect for our Family of 4. Everything you need in the kitchen to make a nice meal. Enough space to spread out and relax. Location was easy and close to any store we needed. We will definitely book again when we are back in Las Cruces.

We return again and again

We have stayed here multiple times, and each time has been great. The house has almost everything that we need. The kitchen is very well equipped. We plan to come back!

Like Being Home

This is a beautiful home away from home because it has a roomy well equipped kitchen for the chefs in the family, fun and local colorful decorations and several comfortable seating areas where we could visit or read books from the interesting library.

My Favorite House

Perfect Home

This beautiful home has everything you would ever need. Coffee on the porch in the mornings was the best way to start your day. The water feature is so relaxing. Great, safe, location. We will make this home our “go to” place for our future trips to Las Cruces

A very beautiful, comfortable property

Great Stay

Had a great stay at this VRBO. The property was plenty spacious and accommodating. We used the kitchen for several meals and loved all of the pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Very happy with picking this property.

Lovely and Enchanting

This home is lovely and has many comforts. We enjoyed Las Cruces and remain haunted by its natural beauty. If you have never been to New Mexico or to this area in particular, GO! You are in for a true enchantment. The property manager was really responsive to us and we were so appreciative. The back yard and expansive porch were beautifully done and made the quietude of the neighborhood especially more private. My only suggestion is that the bedding in every bedroom seemed to be quite past is product life should perhaps be considered for upgrade. Little touches like adding fitted sheets or dust ruffles to the boxsprings would be a tailored refinement to an already elegant space. There is the need for a few subtle repairs, but they are minor (window treatments and a jiggly master bath commode flush handle). Nothing major. We had a great time.

Home Away from Home

Very nice house for the location we wanted to be in. Had an issue with the grill but the manager will resolve the issue by reimbursing us the cost to fix it. Would definitely suggest this place to anyone staying in las Cruces!!

Lovely Place

My three nieces and nephew who attended my son's wedding loved your home. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated and had all the comforts of home, including spices and other treats. Mardi was a gracious host and responded to every question immediately, including where she bought items in the house. I wanted my nieces and nephew, who are very special to me, to have a lovely stay--they enjoyed the interior, as well as the yard. I will definitely book this place again if the need arises.

Perfect and Homey

This was a wonderful stay for us. Very homey decorated with class. Just like the owner walked out. So many places are blank walls. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything. Beds were very comfy. Back yard was pleasant with the relaxing recycling pond. Very quiet and safe area. Our dog enjoyed it also with room to roam.

Amazing property!

As you approach the neighborhood, you will see the awesome Organ Mountains. When you drive into the driveway, you will see a quiet neighborhood and a beautifully landscaped front yard. As you enter the house, you will feel comfortable and uplifted by the skylights, big windows, and lots of New Mexican, French, and local artwork. Finally, as you walk onto the back patio, you will see a private rock garden sanctuary with a fountain, trees, and a well-appointed patio. Unbelievably beautiful! Such a tranquil, relaxing place for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or evening access as it has landscape lighting on some areas of the backyard. Both the owner and the manager are extremely responsive. We are enjoying Las Cruces and this Sonoma Ranch Hacienda so much that we have extended our stay!

Feels like home

Our family enjoyed our stay. Cooking was so easy as this home has everything from cookware to seasonings that we have at home. Loved the southwest decor and the abundance of bedding and towels. Comfortable home for family gathering in a walking and bicycle friendly neighborhood. Check-in was easy and the owner was very responsive to questions. We are already booked to come back!
