Beautiful wooded property with everything a group of old friends needed to reconnect. Trails and walking paths are right there. Host was quick to get back to us with our multiple questions. Would definitely book again.

The space was beautiful and great for our group. The hot tub was fantastic, the bathrooms were clean and modern and the big table was great for group dinners. The kitchen wasn’t fully stocked, so we did have to bring some baking dishes and other kitchenware with us. The host was incredibly communicative and accommodating. Would absolutely rent this property again!

Perfect for a large group

We had a great time. Place is amazing. Highly recommend. We had four different families and we never felt cramped. Lovely open main room allowed us to stay connected. Bedrooms were nice and spacious, good bed options. Nice decor.

We loved how well stocked the kitchen was and you had 20 lbs of ice. That’s a big deal.so much seating and extra table and chairs.

Generally, it was a beautiful house, suitable for our large family. We enjoy the walk to the pond and the tennis courts nearby. We could have used access to the mailbox for a delivery that we needed. Oven mitts were needed, but we made do. Our family had a lovely time in the rustic location.

Winter Getaway

The house was perfect for us. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms really nice. The road in the development is dirt, a 4wd is needed as stated. It was muddy and rutty on arrival, then snow and ice , but do-able. Great house. Would recommend

Becket VRBO review

The house was great, and our group enjoyed our stay. The 1st floor Master bathroom was quite exceptional. We appreciated that our host was immediately responsive to every question and request. There were a few basic things that were lacking: only 1 of the 6 bedrooms had a closet or even a clothes rack. The large bedrooms would have been more comfortable with a small chair, and we would have appreciated a box of tissues and some hand cream. Also, the hot tub wasn’t working optimally. But overall it was great stay.

The house is nicely built but we had several problematic issues that made the experience subpar. First, we were told less than a week before check in that the A/C was broken, and it became clear the property owner knew well before they told us. Thankfully, the weather was moderate and we were given a reasonable discount, but there were a few uncomfortable days, more than half of the windows could not be opened, screens were missing from some windows, and some of the screens were filthy. Second, the house is not well maintained. There were areas that were very dirty. There was a lot of disrepair, including that only half of the jets on the hot tub were operational, there was rotting particle board, the sink handle -- which had clearly been glued before -- broke again, the paint on the outside deck was flaking away, and the finial on one of the stair rails was loose and I almost fell down when I grabbed it, the pool was dirty and the pool furniture had pads that were disgusting and had not no covers, and one of the pool chairs was broken and dangerous. One of the detectors in the house went off at 2:00 am in the morning waking everyone up; my son had to dangerously climb up on the closet to try to reset it. There were no Becket beach passes and we had to chase the manager and didn't get them until Tuesday. There were other issues, but overall the misleading description on the website was not matched by reality. Very disappointing.
