Adorable 3 bedroom attached cottage in quiet spot.

Cozy cottage among the best of Picayune. Renovated but with unique character/local flavor. Amenities to live, work or commute. Near I-59, getting around is a breeze. Cafes, dining, grocery, downtown shopping district and hospital nearby. We are centrally located within an hours drive from New Orleans, Mississippi beaches and casinos, and Hattiesburg.

Our home is part of a duplex. We are on the right side. The home is completely private with its own driveway, entrances, and back yard. We have a long paved driveway that can accommodate up to 4 cars or a truck with a trailer.

The Space: The main floor has a kitchen, dinning room, livingroom, laundry room, master bedroom with attached bathroom, hall bathroom, and bedroom 2. Upstairs is the secluded loft with bedroom 3.

We are kid friendly. We have plastic dishware, safety gate for stairs, highchair, and pack n' play with bassinet/ changing table accessories.

Wonderful stay

This was a great place and location to stay while visiting family member in Carriere MS for Superbowl party and Mardi gras. We would stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful. The place felt very homey. It was quiet, clean and the neighborhood was nice. The owners are extremely nice and accommodated all our needs. We will definitely rent again from them and highly recommend to others.

No complaints here!

We were passing through the area during spring break. There were 5 of us in our party which would have required two hotel rooms. That would have been a chunk of our spring break budget right there. I decided to check out vrbo, and I am so glad I did. The cottage was a perfect place for us all to stay, and was far superior than any hotel would have been. Everything was on point. It was clean, easy to get to, plenty of room. While it may be an older home, it Is on good condition and met our needs perfectly. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Picayune stay

The property was clean and comfortable. It was convenient to gas, grocery stores and pharmacy. Comfortable beds and good kitchen facilities as well as bathroom facilities. Good tv. Two bedrooms downstairs were great. For older people I would be concerned about the upstairs room because of the stairs. Other than that would definitely stay again.

Exactly what we needed.

We find VRBO’s like this one to be much more comfortable for a family than a hotel room. Everything was clean and comfortable. The yard could use some TLC, but the owner did say they were working on it. We were very happy with our stay and will make it our go to place when visiting our daughter who lives in Picayune.

Another great stay

This is our second stay here. Nice house in a quiet neighborhood, close to I-59. We had everything we needed. Our only complaint is that the stairs to the loft bedroom are at very irregular heights, which makes them difficult to navigate, especially at night.

Nice property convenient location

The property was nice with comfortable beds & a kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals. Convenient to store, restaurants & I-59. Will definitely be back!

The positives about this property are: pleasant decor, kitchen bar, large beds, plenty of closet space, a plethora of cooking supplies, access to Roku, brochures of local attractions, a quiet neighborhood, and a cozy loft. Some suggestions for improvement are: consider making at least one of the toilets handicapped accessible with support rails, the stairs could have used a second railing along the wall, the back tub drip should be fixed, and it would have been nice if the kitchen had scissors and pot holders. Overall, we were able to comfortably relax and enjoy our weekend getaway. Thank you so much. We will definitely rent again.

Cute Cottage

This cute cottage was absolutely perfect for our visit with family! Turns out it was less than 5 minutes from family who lives in Picayune. It is an older home that is nicely decorated and well appointed. The owner was VERY responsive to any and all communication. He gave us a “heads up” on a maintenance issue that ultimately had no impact on our visit, but was greatly appreciated. The only real “issue” (if you can even call it that) was the home had a bit of a musty smell … it was not unbearable. Be very careful on the stairs leading to the loft! Our family has saved the information on this unit, as they have other family and friends who travel to Picayune.

Much better than a hotel

My friend and I (only 2 of us so we did not use the upstairs bedroom) came to Picayune to go to the Crosby Arboretum and more. This duplex was a great place to stay. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, furniture was nice and not worn, beds were comfortable especially the King size bed. The only thing negative I can say is that it is on the corner next to a busy street. And it would have been great to have a TV in the master bedroom. But the neighborhood is nice and so was the Host. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to the area.
