This is a 3 bedroom 1 bath brick house with a mountain view. 17 miles from the Capitol but feel you are in the wild and wonderful wilderness at the same time. This house is rustic but has it all. There is nothing fancy but is very comfortable with 4 new comfortable beds and linens, 3 smart tvs, a stocked kitchen, laundry room in garage, a new gas flattop griddle on the back porch with patio table and much more. Anyone traveling on the interstates through West Virginia who hopes to avoid normal traveling routine, this is the place to enjoy and make memories. This is a classic place that will fulfill what a person would perceive West Virginia as.

My husband and I and our three kids stayed one night on our way to Virginia. The house and location was amazing! The dirt trail out back was a favorite for the boys and the view was stunning! We would definitely stay again!

Very nice place with great views. So quiet at night and the stars were beautiful. After an 11 hour drive, our host was very patient with me as I was exhausted and was struggling with things that were already well communicated. Highly recommend.

Beautiful View!

We stayed here for one night as this was almost halfway to a wedding we attended recently. The house was very clean and comfortable and ideal for our family. The mountain view was absolutely beautiful, and we ate both dinner and breakfast on the deck overlooking the mountains. Communication was prompt from the owner. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

Beautiful Location - Quiet and Safe

The host had excellent communication. She really went above and beyond to accommodate one of her properties for us for the dates we needed. The listing is very accurate. This house is out in the country, which is what we were looking for. Very quiet with beautiful views.Our dogs loved it!Thanks again

Beautiful, breathtaking views and super clean and comfortable setup. Came with my daughter and 1 year old grandson an it was well appointed for a young toddler to run and play indoors. It was quite wet, muddy, and snowy during our trip, so my 4 wheel drive can in handy on the way up the last steep mile to the house. The beds we slept in were comfortable, which I don’t always find and was grateful for. Only suggestion would be to have a doormat by the door to help keep all the mud and snow from being tracked into the house. It was really ideal for our trip to visit family nearby.

House was definitely as described, beds seemed very clean and was comfy. Plenty of towels and shower was clean. We were only there 1 night and it rained the whole night but our stay was nice.

The pictures are a little out dated, expected to be the only place on the property but there was campers on the same property. Still very relaxing with beautiful views but if you want privacy with noone around this isn't the place. The people near by are friendly and keep to themselves tho. Host was great with communication and answering questions we had throughout our visit. The view at night time and seeing all the stars while sitting by the fire was perfect for us. If you plan on cooking, plan to use the grill bc there's not really any cooking supplies provided for you.
