Centrally located in the heart of Old Town. Literally a 2 block walk to Lincoln Park & North Avenue beach! The surrounding blocks are LOADED with bars, restaurants, shopping. You are in the A+ location of Chicago!



- All linens, sheets, towels fully furnished

- Kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking/eating needs.

- Free street parking (sometimes hard to find). Paid parking is available for a dedicated garage spot 1 block away from the property for approx. $25 a day.

Dan was very responsive and easy to communicate and solved the minor issues we had smoothly and quickly. The location is great, though parking was really challenging, even with the recommendations given by Dan, possibly since it was a weekend where the Old Town art fair was happening. The kitchen is stocked for cooking with all the utensils needed.

2 month stay

Great stay over the 2 months, Dan was very responsive of getting issues resolved and property itself was comfortable and located in a great location.

The location in is great and very walkable to restaurants and takeout. The unit was mostly as described, the beds and sheets were comfortable, and the towels were clean, though quite worn. The access walkway was narrow and dirty, and the stairway up to the unit was dark, making going up and down the stairs dangerous even in the daytime and with their one stairwell light.My biggest concern was communication and security. After a loud disturbance one night, management changed both the building and unit codes without notifying us. We only got back in because the person changing the codes happened to come outside and gave us the new codes without verifying we were the renters. The host never followed up.The most serious issue occurred our final day when the Wi-Fi went out around 3 p.m. I had an important work deadline the next morning. After an initial quick response, the host provided no meaningful updates. When asked for a suggestion on how to get internet, their response was that I leave my three children alone in the unit and find an internet café, which was obviously not acceptable. After that response, the host ghosted me. With no resolution or further response, I had to pack up the unit and my kids early and find other accommodations so I could complete my work.Old Town is great, but the lack of communication and support during significant issues overshadowed the positives. Red flag if the host ghosts you rather than providing updates or solutions for outages.

Long Term Stay

Nice apartment. Gate doesn’t lock and stairwell is ratty. Other folks and barbershop were quite noisy at times. Generally, though, it’s spacious and close to all the action on Wells St.

One Month Stay

Place was in good location, and overall stay was fine, but there were key items that weren’t accurately described, and host lacked communication overall. AC didn’t work, slept in 78° every evening, and even after communicating the issue, nothing was resolved. Washer & dryer were listed as “in unit,” yet were in basement of building where it was shared amongst other tenants & barber shop (beard/hair clippings were found in our “clean sheets”) and feet away from multiple rat sightings/trash piles. Fridge water system didn’t work, and the Brita didn’t have a filter that worked properly, toaster also didn’t work, even though listed in description. Code to exterior door was changed during stay, and no notification was given. Stranded outside until host replied with new code. Tv services weren’t available as mentioned, so had to log into our own streaming apps. Loved staying in Old Town, but the listing & communication could’ve been a lot better.

The washer and dryer for this building are listed as in the building (basement of the building). The exterior code was changed and provided to you for access. The AC issue was resolved during your stay and it's in working order still. If we had known about the issues with the TV, we would have sent over maintenance to fix the issue. The cleaner has been by the unit several times and hasn't reported any issues with the TV. If there are any questions about the unit, we have a great team that is available 24/7 to answer any questions. Great location and worth it just for that alone. The property was very clean and instructions were very detailed. The kitchen is updated and has MOST things that you would need to cook but was missing some supplies like pot holders. Linens were limited (no extra blankets or towels) and the pillows were extremely thin. However, I would definitely stay again just because of the proximity to old town, bus stops, and Lincoln park. Thanks for a nice stay!
