This is a lovely cottage for our family gathering - it is a very peaceful and private location being on the water and direct access to the lake. Excellent bird watching opportunities and we enjoyed the kayaks provided to be able to paddle out each day. The house feels cozy but with lots of space for all the family members. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Thanks.

Great location - we like secluded and it is. Wonderful natural setting with bird life galore. Within reach of excellent day outings like Point Pelee and Windsor and Buxton National Historic Site. All bedrooms are ensuite and with two beds providing very flexible accommodation. Kitchen is very well stocked. Heating works well. Kayaks are an added bonus. Well worth staying here.

It is avery spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with all amenities included.

The. Property was wonderful,everything as advertised and more.The grounds were beautiful for watching sunset from around the fireplace.Wildlife and sporting equipment to use.Residence was perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need.Not a thing forgotten.Instructions for use were well done.Can’t ask for anything better.Host was most helpful and prompt with replies.Seriously thinking of renting again for sure!!!

Amazing experience

Overall was a amazing experience. The property was spectacular, amazing accommodations and view of everything. Owner was very easy to communicate and plan everything with, even with the complications on my side of things. Excellent stay, 10/10 would recommend.

2024 Canada fishing trip

13 of us traveled from the states and stayed in this beautiful home, which accommodated all of us perfectly! Trevor, the host was very informative and made our stay very enjoyable. Beautiful property and worked well with five boats and the fishery is absolutely amazing. We will be back!

Fishing

Great property! Plenty of room for our group of 10. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable with linens provided. Easy and convenient location to Lake Saint Clair. All questions leading up to our stay were answered quickly and honestly. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Family birthday

Brought together 12 of us plus a baby to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. The Lodge provided us with room and bathroom for everyone couple. It was wonderful outdoor and indoor spaces to chat, play games and sit around a campfire. We loved the kayaks! The kitchen had plenty of space to cook and a couple of large tables to eat at. We can’t wait to go back Trevor was a wonderful host who answered all our questions promptly. Thank you Trevor. We will be back

Excellent for family reunions

This place is much larger than we thought from reviewing the listing. Very spacious and great for family groups. Exceptionally well equipped. You don’t need to bring anything except your food. It’s on a very quiet piece of property out in the country. Not much nearby, but a relatively short drive to Chatham or Tilbury if you need groceries. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions, and the whole process was very easy. we would definitely recommend it. Thank you Trevor.

The place was great. Had lots of paddle boats, kayaks and good amount of lawn games. It was a great two days for us and a group of teen boys. Thanks for a great time.
