Laketown Wharf Parking Pass & Wristband Fee:
A one-time fee of $78.17 will need to be paid separate from the reservation. These fees are paid directly to the HOA through their online portal. Passes and wristbands can be picked up at the front desk upon check-in.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing! The rental isn’t bad, but needs updating. It gives a an old, nasty feel. Rugs are old, sinks smell. A good vinegar and baking soda cleanse would help. New mattresses and updated kitchen would seal the deal. . Benchmark was very helpful and very responsive.

Great location, great check in staff, especially Kayley!! The condo itself is not bad, but needs updating and TLC. The tub was backed up..not sure how that was cleaned and not noticed, kitchen sinks smell when the water runs, shower rods and EVERYTHING is rusty and will stain towels and clothing. Just give this place some TLC please. The elevators are a nightmare as well as check in. For the amount of people at this resort, upgrades are needed asap. Waiting 30 minutes for a rusty elevator that needs servicing is absolutely crazy. I left unit 1816 at 9:50am and didn’t get down to the lobby until 10:40, with all my bags and more, no carts available for luggage. The security is crazy and makes you feel like you shouldn’t be there - it goes a little overboard. Loading/ Unloading is also a nightmare AND a local police officer deeply offended my African American sons by not believing they stayed there although they all had on their wristbands. Please do better Laketown Wharf, PCB police, and Benchmark Realty.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To describe this stay is was honestly ok at best. I’m just going to list off some of the things that were just not what I expected. First we had two groups of people that arrived at different times. This first group was directed to the correct parking garage that was in reasonable distance of the room, got wristbands with no problem and check in went smoothly. It might have been because the arrival of the second group was later after the lobby had closed and they couldn’t get wristbands which is perfectly understandable and not a problem but they were directed to a completely different parking garage nowhere near where we were staying and had absolutely no idea where they were or how to get to where they were staying, we had to go and find them and bring them to the room that’s how far they were. Next the microwave didn’t work and sparked and smoked as I was trying to heat up food. The Wi-Fi did not work and Wi-Fi was listed on the reservation as one of the things that came with staying there but I was never given a password in any of the emails. The washing machine ripped the bottom of my husbands pants to shreds. The cable package was honestly not great. It honestly might not be a problem for people who are looking to be out and doing things most of the day but as we had a 15 month old with us we stayed in the condo quite a bit so it honestly caused quite a few issues that weren’t expected.

The room was great but it looked like cleaning had been rushed didnt like the check in time being 4 and check out 10 you lose a whole 2 days of vacation, i understand room needing cleaned but we work hard to earn the money to take our families to vacation so maybe somthing can be figured out to keep some of that lost time, other than that and the elevator to people ratio and not having a luggage cart the trip was wonderful and the room was very nice

Whom ever it may concern

Reviewer Comments: To whom it may concern or should concern, first of all I would like to state I have stayed at the wharf before and it was NOTHING like this. I spent $2214of my hard earned money to stay here with my family. I never received the email to register everyone, when it was time to get in, I had to call to get the code and whoever was on the other end was very snappy and unprofessional and hung up on me. Seriously, I’m the customer and you’re being disrespectful to me. That right there should have giving me indication on how this trip was going to go. So we get in, and then realize the door doesn’t lock. Find dead bugs, there was still water in the bathtub. The pull out bed was broken(had to get a blow up mattress for my kids!)No extra bedding for the pull out couch, patio door doesn’t lock(which I have small children and thats alone is very upsetting). They gave me 3 rags for 6 people. Sure there’s a washer and dryer but why should I have to wash towels and rags on my VACATION when I should have them. I mean $2,214. That’s just ridiculous. Also when I called for more the people were rude. Like pulling teeth just to get some towels. I had to go to Walmart and purchase more towels and rags just to have enough for my family. Also went ahead and bought some bug spray because we don’t do bugs.. I would really love to hear about from someone about these issues we have experienced so far. Great stay

Sofa should be replaced. Condo was great snd yes would stay there again. Everything we needed but don’t plan for anyone to sleep in sofa bed.

Broken sofa bed and lack of care by staff

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first arrived we had to wait in line for an hour just to receive our wrist bands. Then when we finally arrived to the room we found the couch to be broken (sofa bed) which was unable to be used as a bed for my son and his girlfriend. They had to sleep on the sofa bed mattress on the floor after we had to spend $120 at Walmart to buy a 4” bed topper so they could sleep. When I called the office the 1st time I was told someone would be over within the hour to bring sheets for the sofa bed and an extra set of towels. No one came by to drop them off. I called the next day and left a voicemail about the broken couch and she called me back and said she would have someone come by and take a look at the couch to be repaired and bring towels and sheets. Someone came by and told my son that the couch was to broken to be fixed and that he would take pictures and make sure that the office knew it was not our fault. He told my son this multiple times but did not leave anything in writing with my son for me to see. I called Benchmark after I heard this information and spoke with a Benchmark representative by the name of Roger and told him the situation and he informed me he could not give me any information in writing about our call but that I would receive an email from someone to get back in contact with me. I never received a call back or email. Honestly, I am a travel agent and I am extremely frustrated. I called on before my trip to make sure my son and his girlfriend were paid for so I would make sure they had a place to sleep and do it honestly. There was no additional sheets or towels to reflect this change. I was also not informed from what I read on the welcome packet that the individuals in the lobby were not who we contact for these items. I will not be referring anyone to this property in the future because I would not want my clients to feel the way I did. It took time away from being able to enjoy my own vacation because I was worrying about my famil

The unit was well taken care of and had great views of both the beach and the lake at the back of the property. I think the only issue we really had was that some of the elevators had issues, so that made getting down or up hard, especially during the busier times of the day.

Can't beat the view!

Exactly as advertised!

The stay was great! The home was exactly as advertised. Clean with lots of space! Location was perfect for the activities we had planned. The beach was effortless to get to. The only downside was the elevators took forever because one was broke and people pushing every level before they get off. Just be prepared to wait or walk. Aside from that the stay was AWESOME!

Family Vacation

Our unit was clean and appropriately described. I had myself, spouse and 3 children with me. The location was great, right across from Pineapple Willys and the beach. I would definitely stay there again. We had a great time.

Nice property! elevators need to be fixed

Vacationed here with my family. The condo was very nice and just like the pictures on the website. The only issue we had was being on the 18th floor the elevators were hot, very slow, and there are not enough elevators to accommodate the many people who stay at the property. The stairs were not an option to use multiple times a day for my disabled relative. But overall, we had a nice and enjoyable experience.

Good unit and location, elevators are horrid

We like this unit and the location. Great beach. Great pools. The elevators are super inadequate for the property, they are not climate controlled and really impacted the experience negatively. The property says they are updating the elevators in September.

great view, large space, convenient location

very nice refurbished unit. it is actually a bit larger than we expected from the pictures. very nice view of the beach which is a quick walk across the street. While the unit is newer, the building is not... there are three sets of elevators but all go to all floors so plan ahead at the busy times of the day. check in is easy. we had an issue with the room being ready but the host made it right for us so no complaints. the host is very attentive and responds quickly to texts. grocery shopping is right across the other street. All in all a pleasant stay for us.
