This newly renovated and furnish cozy house is the perfect gateway to enjoy San Antonio and surrounding areas. It has 3 bedroom with queen size beds and a queen sofa bed in the living room to comfortable sleep 8 people.
Our home is perfectly located 3 minutes to the Alamodome in a car-ride and a 10 minutes walk.
Tower of the Americas/Henry B Gonzales Center - 4 minutes (1 mile)
River Center Mall/River Walk - 5 minutes (1.5 miles)
The Alamo - 6 minutes (2 miles)

Excellent location

This house was just exactly what we needed. It is just a short drive from Lackland Air Force Base and less than 10 minutes from downtown attractions like the River Walk and the Alamo. The house had everything we needed for our stay and served our family well.

Just okay. Next time we'd opt for somewhere different...

Once booked, communication with the host was great! We didn't need to communicate during our stay. The remote-controlled gate helped us feel secure about our vehicle. The home appeared clean and well-maintained at first glance. We quickly realized it wasn't exactly that. We killed several creepy-crawlies, there was lots of other peoples' hair throughout the property and the workmanship in the bathrooms was a bit difficult to manage. There was no sink space and the bathroom shower door didn't seal properly, leaving us with water clean-up after each shower. There were also loose rocks in the shower floor that kept coming up every time we'd shower. The bedrooms were good size, but there was only one small futon for seating in the living room, which wasn't enough for 4 people comfortably. Although the listing says it can sleep 8, I would say 4 people is the absolute max you'd want staying here without feeling like you're on top of each other. There was music bass thumping from about 1 am to 6 am, and dogs barking every night. Also, bring your own pillows as the ones provided were flat as pancakes! If you enjoy watching TV before bed, you can't do that here. There was 1 TV and no channels (unless we had our own streaming services). It felt weird having to set out the cans for trash/recycle days. The location was close to the Alamo and Riverwalk, but we decided a nicer home a little further away in a better area or a little more expensive would be a better option for next time.

Great Place

My family stayed here between two marching band competitions. The property was wonderful and met all of our needs. Well appropriated - very clean and close to the venue. Hope to stay here again!

Lovely, spacious home that was located in a quiet neighborhood that is being renewed. Close and convenient to all the sites in downtown San Antonio. Very pleasant stay!

Quick Family Get away

The neighborhood is a little sketchy but had no issues with the neighbors. We were able to park our car inside the gate in the backyard. The place was cute, clean and close to Downtown.The owner was sweet and quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again. Overall a good experience!

Historic East San Antonio

The home is located steps from the where the Spurs play, the Alamo, and the river walk. The home is totally remodeled and yes it’s in the historic part of San Antonio so it’s an older, safe and quiet neighborhood. Never heard a peep out of anyone at all. The AC was wonderful for the hot and humid nights. The home owner was very attentive to any questions I had and responded immediately. Thank you Rocio for making my stay while visiting family in this area a wonderful experience!

Family vacation

First time with Vrbo and the process was easy. The host was very accommodating when I needed to add an extra night. The house was clean and spacious and only a 6 min drive to the river walk!

Alamodome Convenience

Listing was as described. AC works great-bring warm PJS ;) Host was very responsive-question about WIFI that was assisted with timely! Appreciated the supplied first aid kit when needing band aids late at night. Neighborhood: the neighborhood is a mix of new updated Air BB homes/new condos and old homes. That is not an issue and the area was quiet. We walked home from the Alamodome and the only issue was with loose dogs at some homes. This is frightening at night so, if you want to walk be aware-especially since you could not have a safety object such as a big flashlight going into the Alamodome. Nothing the host can manage/change but just a heads up! Uber from the house was $10 with a good tip so way better than parking at the dome if that matters. Would stay again.

Close drive to sights

House was about 10 minute drive to most sights in San Antonio, which was convenient. The house met our needs. Neighborhood is transitional so some nice houses and some not so nice, but it worked for us.

Nice peaceful neighborhood

Very comfortable - good location for visiting our airman grad at Lackland base. Might suggest that guests leave dishes in sink for cleaning staff to wash properly- don’t like the idea of depending on guests before us washing dishes properly

Very nice home away from home.

We were going to a convention while in San Antonio. The little cottage was just wonderful! Very clean, very inviting! The manager was there when we arrived and offered to drive us to our meeting the first day. Also, any questions we asked were answered very quickly. The neighborhood is being refurbished and not bad. We totally enjoyed our stay at this little home and would rent it again in a minute. Thank you to the hosts!
