If you have any concerns, our customer support team is available 24/7/365. If there is any kind of mechanical issue with the home, please reach out to us first barring any kind of emergency. We will do our best to respond promptly and resolve any issues you may have.
Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.

For your convenience and security, the front door of the house is equipped with a smart lock to provide seamless access to the home.
During your stay, you will have full access to the house, except for one of the garages, which may occasionally be used by the cleaning staff or the owners. Rest assured that your privacy will not be disturbed in any way during your stay.

Please be advised that this home is located on a rural road on an elevated property. All guests must have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are required to access the home, especially in the winter and during rough weather conditions. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!
During Summer - It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC. The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.
During Winter - Winter snowfall can vary during the winter months. For guests staying from late October through late April, AN AWD OR 4WD VEHICLE IS REQUIRED. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. Our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.
During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck, and on walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.

Space and Layout
Spanning 2,500 square feet, the home is designed with open, sunlit living spaces. The main level features a welcoming sunroom - a favorite spot for morning coffee or a quiet read - that flows into the living room with a plush sectional, 65-inch smart TV, and a wood-burning fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen anchors the space, offering a 4-burner gas stove, espresso machine, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and plenty of cookware. Meals can be enjoyed at the six-seat dining table or the five-seat breakfast bar, making it easy to gather after a day outdoors.
Sleeping Arrangements
Four bedrooms provide a variety of sleeping options. The main floor includes two king bedrooms that share a full bath with a tub-shower combo. Upstairs, the loft master suite offers vaulted ceilings, sweeping views, a king bed plus twin, a 60-inch smart TV, and a private ensuite bathroom. The loft also includes a dedicated workspace with an extra monitor and balance chair for those who need to stay connected. On the lower level, a bunk room with twin-over-twin and twin-over-queen bunks sits next to a third full bath, making it ideal for children or solo travelers.
Outdoor Living
Step outside onto the expansive log deck to enjoy sweeping views of the valley and mountain peaks. A BBQ grill and picnic table invite alfresco dining from May through October, while stargazers will find the skies above unforgettable on clear nights. Wildlife is often spotted on the property, and the crisp mountain air makes this a year-round destination for relaxation. Please note that county regulations do not allow the use of the outdoor fire pit.
Amenities and Comfort
The cabin is thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, ceiling fan, heating, and kitchen basics such as coffee, tea, oil, salt, and pepper. Bathrooms are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fresh linens. Safety features include exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit. Pets are welcome, and parking includes a one-car garage and additional covered spaces.
Location and Activities
Just nine minutes from Fairplay and forty minutes from Breckenridge, the cabin is perfectly situated for both outdoor adventure and small-town charm. Guests can hike nearby trails like Reinecker Ridge or Sheep Mountain, soak in hot springs, ski at Breckenridge, Copper, or Keystone, or explore local shops and restaurants. Whether your days are filled with skiing, fishing, cycling, or quiet time in nature, this mountain retreat offers the ideal balance of adventure and comfort.

For added security, we have cameras on the outside of the property. There are absolutely no cameras inside the home.
The house sits at roughly 10,000 ft elevation and cell service may be spotty in the mountains. To ensure that you have access to important information, it is best to have a screenshot or printout of your check-in instructions and directions to the property.
