Nice place to stay for our weekend getaway, loved sitting on the dock each evening. Very clean. Boiling pot, crab traps, paddle board, kayaks were all available.

What a great location to recharge and relax. Morgan & Kaci couldn’t have been better hosts. I now know how to crab. Thanks for introducing us to Derrious. What a great Captain. Convenient access to New Orleans and other sites around the area. The house was filled with all the amenities one would want for a getaway. Including being greeted by a small green friend everyday.

The host was welcoming and accommodating of my sister and her kids spending a night. The home was spacious and there were plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed the grill for burgers. In the morning before we left we saw dolphins swimming and jumping in the bayou! It was a good trip.

We had 6 adults and 2 teens in town for a fishing trip. It was a wonderful stay with plenty of rooms for everyone! The teens loved the location with the dock on the water…they fished and had crab traps going the whole time. Close to the grocery store, nearby restaurants and very convenient to the local fishing guides! Highly recommend and we will definitely return

Great space to see New Orleans area

We stayed for 7 days. From this wonderful house we went on local airboat tour, fishing trip where we were picked up from the dock, went into New Orleans and visited plantations. It was always great come ‘home’. The space was relaxing and clean.

Bayou life was incredible. The house is clean, equiped with all we needed, and perfectly situated on the bayou for fishing, lounging and trips into the french quarter. The host was very responsive and friendly and was seen several times tending to the yard and property between renters of other nearby properties. The neighborhood is quiet, and we had all the room we needed to have a fun spring break with our family. He arranged a fishing charter for us, which was cold, but so fun. We caught our dinner and cooked it and other meals at the house. We made great memories and appreciate the opportunity to stay at Bayou Life.

Paradise!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. A remote location with plenty of privacy and equipped with everything we needed! If we ever get a chance to visit New Orleans again we will definitely use your property. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for our long weekend!

Everything was perfect for our double family weekend getaway! The listing already seemed like it was too good to be true, but then they still exceeded our expectations. The host was very responsive and helpful. They really thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. The only thing we would have changed was making it a longer trip. We'd definitely stay here again next time we visit the area.

Morgan was helpful in so many ways even with questions and suggestion I had before our trip.. We had a great experience with the Charter boat he suggested. Came to the house and picked us up. Captain Ron was fabulous and we caught a good batch of fish. House was very comfortable. The ice maker was the best cause we went through a lot of ice with fishing and all. It is a super place. Thank you Morgan
