Hello, the rooms Was big. Room 2 tv would not stay on. All the bed sheets felt damp, the floors stayed wet. Please throw away the molded pillows that’s in the closet. There’s some molded spots on the ceiling too. This is a nice place to stay but it needs a good cleaning.

We were very disappointed in our stay with the Big Fish Rentals condo. It was not clean, the ceiling was falling, there was mold on the ceiling and the shower curtains, there was tape where the patio lock should’ve been, fecal matter came up through the tub and the area of South Myrtle Beach was very run down and didn’t feel safe at night. We sent pictures to the rental company as soon as we got there and they offered to come clean and fix the ceiling while we were there. They should’ve done it before we showed up. They had another opening at another condo but refused to acknowledge we even asked. The Grand Atlantic did not want to help us because the condo wasn’t rented through them. We asked to pay for another parking pass but they would not help us even though there were over 100 empty spaces. Do not go to this condo or deal with this company.

The room was spacious for sure . However there was a rotten apple under the room with the two beds. The AC STAYED AT 83 the whole time it was muggy the whole time . No paper towels provided the dish soap was less then half empty to use for 3 days . The blankets hang down and touch the floor it would be nice if they rotated at least three comforters vs using the same ones they allDragged and the floor would get wet and slippery because it wasn’t cool in the house . Recommend the AC to get fixed new comforters that don’t drag

Poor cleaning , pillows and blankets had stained mold on them there were some we didn’t use because if it. We conttemplated going and buying our own bedding. The couch is extremely dirtywith brown stains we used a bedsheet to put on both couches so we could sit on it. Would recommend buying new furniture or shampooing current ones . Towel rack fell off when we put a towel on it, takes 3-4 hours to dry anything in the dryer, current water damage in closet water dripping on clothes, bathroom door would not open into the bedroom , extremely dusty, shoe marks on the floor when we got in, bathroom towels were still damp , fridge freezes food, washer super noisy , had to plunge the toliet every time we used it. Would not recommend, very disappointing . Several maintenance items need addressed , will not be going back to this unit

Very spacious!

Very affordable for the off season. Condo was decorated and furnished nicely, we loved the extra spacious balcony!

We were very disappointed with our stay and would not book this property again. Communication from the host was extremely poor at the beginning of our stay, making it difficult to check in.When we arrived, there was visible mold on the shower curtains and sand in multiple beds, which made us question the cleanliness of the property. We ended up purchasing new bedding ourselves just so we could sleep comfortably.There were also several maintenance issues, including a hole in the sliding glass door that prevented it from locking properly. Besides being a security concern, it allowed hot air to continuously enter the condo. On our last day and throughout the entire night, the temperature inside stayed at 77 degrees, making it very uncomfortable.Overall, the property appears to need significant maintenance and a much better cleaning process. Between the lack of communication, cleanliness concerns, broken items, and uncomfortable conditions, our experience did not meet expectations.

Great place to stay

The view was everything!! The access to the beach was great as well. Private beach was amazing. The condo was perfect. Size was dead on and it was perfect for the family. Wouldn’t change a thing. Will stay again if we come back for sure!!! Thank you again.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful condo. The sound of the ocean all day and night was so relaxing. The condo was clean and it had enough space for the little ones to spend time in the living room and balcony. Thanks again Julie! This was a great experience!

Stay

Great amenities and location. This condo advertises, 2 kings & 2 queens, but in fact it has 2 kings and 2 double (full). Parking for only 2 cars was problematic for family coming from different states.

All we needed!

Julie and her crew were absolutely incredible to work with. Almost no time getting responses when messages were left. Location was great and easy parking available. I would recommend this for a great place for a golf trip. Local restaurants were great and easy to get to. Thanks Julie! Hope we can rent your place again.

Great views!! Very Clean!

We had a great time staying here! The views are amazing! We loved sitting on the balcony. We will consider renting this unit again in the future. The only complaint was the check in process. I think that it would be nice to know the keys won’t be at the unit as soon as you book. That way you don’t go to the property first and have to pack up and go get the keys. Other than that it was an amazing place to rent.

Overall it was fine. I feel that I should have been informed about the fact that there was no outdoir pool and a great deal of construction. I also felt somewhat harassed about the rules and the cost if one is broken. It actually caused some anxiety.

Overall Good!

Good layout, fairly roomy condo, heated pools inside and out which are a must in March! A few issues on check in, including only one key provided (very tricky for two families staying together) and broken remote and sliding door which wouldn’t close but great combination with property management company and resolved fairly quickly. Condo was reasonably clean, fairly well appointed though many kitchen items are old and could use replacing. Overall not bad and a decent price. Would definitely book this building again and definitely with Big Fish rentals again.

The location and place its self was pretty nice. Disappointed that we were told there was a working washer and dryer and we depended on them for our stay, the washer did not work at all and the dryer hardly worked. We had to go buy stuff for our stay when that wasn’t planned. I’d recommend replacing them.

Condo is not clean we stay for week without washing our clothes and towels because the washer and dryer is broken , the carpet is very old it doesn’t look same as a picture showing ,I will give only 1star for ocean viewiand I never go back to this condo I don’t recommended .

Mini getaway

The location was perfect. Direct beach access. We also used the indoor pools and lazy river with the baby. Was great to have the heated space indoors. Also nice to have washer/dryer in the condo. Could have used some updated balcony furniture, and a better listing of items included in the kitchen, etc. For example there was a Highchair in the condo which was great but we brought one because it was not indicated as being available. There was also a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys etc which would have saved some packing space. Overall a great space with plenty of room for family! Would definitely recommend.

Oceanfront apartment 3B 3B

Here’s a rephrased version of your feedback that maintains a respectful tone while clearly conveying your concerns:---The apartment is in a great location with direct access to the beach, which we really appreciated. Parking was generally manageable, though it could be a bit tight for larger vehicles like SUVs or trucks.The lazy river pool was enjoyable, but there was ongoing construction nearby during our stay that hadn’t been mentioned in advance.The apartment itself feels a bit dated. We encountered a few minor maintenance issues, including a sliding door without a lock, a toilet that kept running, and water dripping from the AC vent directly above the dining table.Key pickup and return added some inconvenience. Keys need to be collected from a separate location about 15 minutes away, and only one key fob is provided, which made things difficult for our group. Returning the key to a different location at checkout was also inconvenient, especially since it wasn’t on our route.Given these challenges, we may consider other options in the future. For the price paid, we had hoped for a more seamless experience.

Lacking, but we made the best of it!

First, the key cards are at a separate location 15 minutes from the condo which isn’t convenient. Once arrived the process was easy to get in and settled, location was great for beach stay and area activities. Both closets that hold laundry and beach items in the condo were broken on arrival, and we had to contact someone so we wouldn’t get charged a fee for damage. As I was unpacking toiletries, I found curly hair by the sink, and no persons in our party has curly black hair. Again, not a wonderful feeling of cleanliness. There was loose papers of past guest information in the guest room closet, sand on the living room table, and I had to wash a dish prior to using because of left over dried on food, and the bathroom sink handle kept coming off every time our children washed their hands- all of this Amin arrival. The pools were nicely heated but never tidy and not once did I see anyone tend to them. Overall we made the most of our vacation but I would not stay here again.

Poor management, but great resort

I will start by saying that we loved the resort and condo. The location was excellent and the resort had a very short walk to the beach. We loved the pool area as well. The resort included an outdoor pool/splash area as well as a covered pool/lazy river/splash pad area. The condo itself was very spacious and exactly what we needed. We would gladly stay at the resort again, but we will not be booking with big Fish rentals ever again. Upon our arrival, we had to wait an hour to get our keys after the check in time. The lockbox that was supposed to have the room keys was empty. If you need to contact big Fish rentals, there is no one in the office and they only give you an email address and a phone number you can text. No phone number to call. When texting them, it often took over an hour to get a response. Also, The main reason we booked this condo was for the washer and dryer, but when we arrived, we soon realized the washer was out of service and no one let us know before hand. The only accommodations that were made was getting clean towels once during the week we stayed there. We also found many cockroaches in the kitchen and the dishwasher didn’t work either. All of the issues we had would have been fine If the management had made it right, but the communication was terrible and no accommodations were made. We were left feeling very frustrated. Overall, we loved Myrtle Beach and the resort, but the management could have been much better!
