Lake Shore Stay- on the shore of Lake Michigan, Beaver Island, MI

The most common remark on entering the 1,000 sq foot apartment is WOW! Or Stunning! Located on beautiful Lake Michigan on Beaver Island. Gorgeous guest apartment with cherry wood flooring, high ceilings, Smart TV, pool table, fully-equipped kitchen, charcoal BBQ grill (charcoal supplied), and washer. and dryer. We now have StarLink for HIGH SPEED Internet, which is uncommon on Beaver Island. Adirondack chairs, swing and fire pit on the shore. Absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and Garden Island. World class dark skies allow for amazing star gazing. Perfect spot to view Northern Lights. Two miles from town and close to sandy beaches.
One bedroom with a Queen size bed is ideal for two guests. The queen bedroom has room darkening shades for a good night’s rest.
The guest house is completely separate from the owners’ quarters. There are no shared walls. A very large garage separates the two homes. When you are enjoying the waterfront, you will have it to yourselves.
Loons fly over the property frequently and their calls are magical. If you’re lucky, you might hear coyotes howling, but that is infrequent. You can bring or rent kayaks as well as stand up paddleboards. We do not have watercraft for your use. If you bring bicycles or kayaks, you can store them in the garage.
There is no smoking permitted inside. We take pride in our thorough cleaning and attention to detail. For example, we wash the blankets and quilts not just the sheets! Please book your stay!

We loved staying here for our Honeymoon. Beaver Island was a childhood vacation spot for me and it was great to be able to show my spouse the amazing things the island has to offer (she now wants to move there). The rental was extremely clean and the hosts were so helpful with fun suggestions for what to check out and supplying us with things like picnic blankets, beach towels, etc. that we may have forgotten.

Trish & Steve’s Lakeside stay is wonderful. We stayed at the end of August. Beautiful lakefront yard and stony beach to watch stars (and the northern lights). They thought of everything to make us comfy and welcome. Their home is magazine photo shoot perfect. Super comfortable and relaxing. Trish and Steve were very welcoming and gave us a lot of good updates about island events (northern lights!!!). Thank you so much for a great vacation.

Beaver Island Intel

Our stay was so nice because the location was a great starting point to find all the treasures the island offers; and when we ran out of ideas Tricia had plenty to share. All of which were outstanding! The rental was SO CLEAN - and I love that. It's my number one wish when traveling. Highly recommend. Oh, I we slept in nearly every morning, because it was quiet, calm and peaceful.

Peace and quiet

We’ve stayed at many different places on the island and especially loved this one. The private beach looks out on lovely Lake Michigan with Garden Island on the horizon. It’s very relaxing and meditative. The location is perfect, with the sandy Donegal Bay Beach just down the road in one direction and the town of Saint James in the other. The apartment is filled with amenities, which include a towel warmer, a kitchen with everything you need, and plenty of storage for those who are staying the week. We highly recommend it and plan to return again.

Wonderful Rental!

The rental was wonderful- the convivences of home! The location was quiet and the lakeside seating was peaceful! There were numerous trails to hike-a very back to nature experience!

All the comforts of home

We stayed three nights and loved it. It was very clean and well maintained. Property owners are very nice. They have provided all the little necessities including a bottle of wine. We had a great time!

Fantastic experience

What a lovely place to stay. My husband and I didn’t want to leave. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The views from the beach were outstanding and we can’t speak highly enough of our hosts. We so appreciated their hospitality. It was more like staying at a friend's house than a VRBO.

Squeaky clean, wonderfully helpful and responsive hosts. We felt right at home in the apartment. Nice little touches throughout. The location, on the water, the dark skies allowed for the best viewing of the milky way i think we've ever seen! Close to best beach for sunsets

Amazing stay!

My fiancée and I went to Beaver Island earlier this month. The place was awesome, the pool table was great while we made dinner! It is so open and roomy, I would definitely recommend. When I posted on the Beaver Island dark sky page on where the best place to look at stars. They informed us that they would turn off their landscaping lights at night so we could just stay on the property. Definitely will be staying there again!

Couldn't be happier

This was the perfect apartment for two! Trish and Steve are lovely and friendly and they thought of EVERYTHING. You only need to bring yourselves and your clothes, the apartment is very well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Convenient location to town, Font Lake and Donegal Bay. Highly recommend the host and the apartment.

Beautiful Sunrise on Lakeshore Stay!

Clean, inviting, well stocked and beautiful view. The host gave us all kinds of tips about the island and helped us make the most out of our vacation. Really one of the best hosts I've ever had for any rental. The property was beautiful. I loved walking out the door right down to Lake Michigan and the firepit. We were there in June and the sunrise was literally right in front of the property.

Steve and I are retired but we volunteer on Beaver Island to support the community we love. We fell in love with Beaver Island the first week we visited in 1990. We do have a very small, fluffy dog that is so cute, but can be a bit wary at times.

This property is so close to town, just two miles from the grocery store, so if you forget something, it’s no big deal. We have a waterfront park for your use. It’s stunning! We are highly motivated hosts that aim to please. Beaver Island is so special for the solitude, peace and quiet that we all need. The property is on a very quiet road. So close to town yet so quiet.
