The Aoudad Cabin at Palo Duro

The Aoudad Cabin is a family-friendly, one-bedroom, one-bath cabin rental with a sleeping loft that can accommodate up to six people.

It is furnished with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom, a futon couch that folds out into a full-sized bed in the living room, and twin mattresses in the sleeping loft. It also has a sofa and Roku TV.

There is a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, microwave, and coffeemaker, and an outdoor deck with a gas grill. It has ample A/C and heating units.

Enjoy the spacious deck for grilling or stargazing.

I needed a quiet weekend away after a year of caregiving without a break. My husband and I found Tracy's cabins online. She helped me get the reservations taken care of. The Aoudad cabin was so perfect! Quiet, privacy and beauty all in one. The longhorns slept in front of our deck at night.We would definitely stay again

Nice cabin kind of rustic. Very close to the canyon. Enjoyed our stay. Would consider staying again if we ever returned.

Not new but very well maintained. Fun paths around complex of cabins. Lots of games to play! Not thrilled about property on other side of fence. Collapsed shed and cow crap mostly. The longhorn cattle sleeping next to cabin was very cool though. All in all, well worth it!!

My family had a great time staying in the Aoudad cabin. It was very clean. The host was wonderful and always answered any questions I had right away. The cabin was very comfortable and decorated very cute. The outside was beautiful. There were flowers outside of our cabin and butterflies all around it. It looked like a fairy garden. There were also Longhorns right outside of the cabin. Just up the road from Palo Duro Canyon State Park. It was a great place to stay!

Cabin is only 1.5 miles from Palo Duro Park entrance. It was nice to take a shower after a long day of hiking and get good sleep for the next day. Easy to return to the park for sunset views.

The host was very helpful with all questions. Which I did not have many, as she was wonderful at anticipating and answering before being asked. Her direction was followed by pictures. So very easy to find. The cabin was spotless, very comfortable. The grounds are very well kept, with tons of outdoor games throughout. All in all very pleasant stay

Perfect location if your plans include multiple visits to Palo Duro Canyon. This location includes the perfect sunrise viewing location right from the porch!! It also includes the Sad Monkey right next door where they have a food counter, lite grocery items, drinks, etc. You just don't have to venture far off to have your needs met when staying in this cabin. Would definately recommend.

The Cabin was charming, clean and a very good value. The wide long ranch land view out back was lovely, but was marred by the neighbor’s in-your-face caved in shed and cow manure that produced flies.

This little cabin aka tiny house is very cozy! We especially loved the sleeping loft! Super easy to find and so close to the Palo Duro Canyon.

The cabin was clean and comfortable and perfect location to the entry gate of the canyon. Tracy was very easy to communicate with and overall, we had a wonderful stay.

These little cabins just outside of Palo Duro are a perfect spot to park and enjoy the canyon. We only stayed one night (on the way to Colorado), but enjoyed the time there. Next door is the Sad Monkey, which was a nice surprise – live music, good food, good atmosphere. I don't like leaving less than 5 stars, but of note – the pillows and mattress were rough. My wife woke up with neck pain like she's never had. To the owners, that’s worth the price of an upgrade. We sank toward each other on the mattress, which means it's very old. The AC units are also extremely loud, especially when the compressor kicks in (enough to wake us from sleep all night). Again, worth an upgrade to better units. Otherwise, this was a cozy, nice spot with good views, and less than a mile from Palo Duro. We'd stay again – but bring our own pillows.
