Experience this beautiful log cabin located in a rural bluff setting with beautiful views of the great outdoors as well as occasional wildlife passing by.
Enjoy the peace and quiet after a long day of fun in the surrounding area. This cabin has everything you need for a relaxing get-away. Its a great retreat and very conveniently located, just minutes from Wisconsin Dells & Castle Rock Lake. We are located halfway between Minneapolis and Chicago and just 10 minutes off I-90-94.

Although the cabin has all the modern conveniences, it still maintains a rustic lodge feeling and appearance, and we wish to share it with you!! Many attractions and restaurants are within easy driving distance. You can relax on the covered front porch in the hot tub over looking the beautiful view, or just sit on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet of a ....True....

Very clean and thoughtful amenities. We saw upwards of 9 deer at a time feeding on fallen apples near the front of cabin. Absolutely beautiful stay.

Beautiful home in the country. Secluded and very relaxing. There is no WiFi, so it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the wildlife. Many deer on the property

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was the cleanest place we’ve stayed. Everything we needed was provided, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. The hot tub was very nice and added to the comfort of our stay. The owner was very responsive and made the whole process simple and stress-free. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spotless, well-equipped cabin retreat.

Very nice cabin! We had messed up our booking and the owner worked with us to make sure our stay went without a hitch. Location is serene, the whirlpool is very nice, and the fireplace was relaxing at night. Keep in mind 3rd bedroom is loft and 1 bathroom is in the master bedroom (2nd, common bathroom in lower level of the cabin). Thank you, Robert.

Cabin in the Woods was a great place to stay. Comfortable for the two of.us but big enough for a group. We enjoyed the property and the quiet.

This is a great property off the beaten path. Very clean and well stocked, quiet country living with nice amenities like the two hole golf course and hot tub. Robert was a great host.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. My husband and I spent a long weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to check out a few places in Wisconsin Dells, but not be surrounded by people the whole weekend. Cabin in the Woods was a perfect choice for us!! Hoping to stay again and bring our family along.

Beauty & Peacefulness wrapped up into one!

Wife and I stayed for 3 nights and it was absolutely beautiful and amazing! SO CLEAN! The owner is super nice and easy to talk to via phone for even any nice comments and gestures. All around an amazing experience! So relaxful!

Hidden Escape

Robert was very responsive and had the snow cleared for us before we arrived. Really enjoyed the views and wildlife, along with the firepit and jacuzzi. Highly recomend checking out Cabin in the Woods!

Had a great time with friends!

Robert was extremely responsive and the cabin was cozy and inviting. It was family friendly and really helped us unwind and disconnect. There is no access to WiFi which we missed on the initial advertising of the listing. This wasn't a problem for our group but good for people to consider depending on your needs from the space. So fun to have hot tub access and plenty of space to be together or spread out!

Great stay great property

Quick romantic getaway for my wife’s 40th birthday. Property was large and the cabin was way bigger than we needed. Hot tub was hot and clean even in middle of winter. Highly recommend

Relaxing, Secluded Cabin

We stayed 4 nights at The Cabin -n- the Woods in Mauston to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the farm field view from the hot tub and starry nights (when it wasn't flurrying). We would highly recommend others to stay here and now that we now there are ATV trails nearby, we may be back in the summer. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

We explored Castle Rock Park, and other parts of Mauston. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the other seasons. We will come back!

As our lives have changed, My son, Ryan and I made an easy decision in sharing our cabin with others.
This secluded property featuring a beautiful log cabin and its wonderful view have a unique setting which make it the perfect place to escape city life and relax comfortably within the woods. Our log cabin has fantastic accommodations.
Wrap around deck with spa (year round) located under the covered porch, fire pit, entertainment / bar room, and much more. Plenty of room for families, friends, and couples, that are visiting our area to enjoy all that Juneau, Adams, Sauk, Monroe, and Vernon Counties have to offer.
We take much pride with what we have accomplished in making our cabin feel like your cabin during your getaway....and wish all our guests a peaceful and relaxing reboot while visiting our area.
