Experience this beautiful log cabin located in a rural bluff setting with beautiful views of the great outdoors as well as occasional wildlife passing by.
Enjoy the peace and quiet after a long day of fun in the surrounding area. This cabin has everything you need for a relaxing get-away. Its a great retreat and very conveniently located, just minutes from Wisconsin Dells & Castle Rock Lake. We are located halfway between Minneapolis and Chicago and just 10 minutes off I-90-94.

Although the cabin has all the modern conveniences, it still maintains a rustic lodge feeling and appearance, and we wish to share it with you!! Many attractions and restaurants are within easy driving distance. You can relax on the covered front porch in the hot tub over looking the beautiful view, or just sit on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet of a ....True....

Had a great time with friends!

Robert was extremely responsive and the cabin was cozy and inviting. It was family friendly and really helped us unwind and disconnect. There is no access to WiFi which we missed on the initial advertising of the listing. This wasn't a problem for our group but good for people to consider depending on your needs from the space. So fun to have hot tub access and plenty of space to be together or spread out!

Great stay great property

Quick romantic getaway for my wife’s 40th birthday. Property was large and the cabin was way bigger than we needed. Hot tub was hot and clean even in middle of winter. Highly recommend

Relaxing, Secluded Cabin

We stayed 4 nights at The Cabin -n- the Woods in Mauston to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the farm field view from the hot tub and starry nights (when it wasn't flurrying). We would highly recommend others to stay here and now that we now there are ATV trails nearby, we may be back in the summer. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

We explored Castle Rock Park, and other parts of Mauston. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the other seasons. We will come back!

Great home base for autumn hiking

We spent our days hiking at the multiple state and county parks in the area. Cabin in the woods was very private, but a short drive for food and entertainment. The kitchen was equipped for cooking your own meals, the bed comfortable, and the hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day. Bob answered the few questions I had quickly and professionally. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone, and would definitely stay here again.

Cabin In The Woods is a beautiful, spacious, very clean and well maintained cabin. Location is perfectly peaceful and full of wildlife. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. We will definitely be returning in the future

Amazing and Unique

A little peice of heaven

It is a privilege to be able to stay here as it it truly a little bit of heaven. Not only is the cabin everything and more than it shows, the surroundings outside are just so peaceful. Pure serenity!! Definitely will be back. Just what we needed and then some. Ohh and you have daily friends (deer) that come visit at least twice a day, putting on a full show in the field.

Wisconsin Dells Trip Summer 24

Maleah and I had a great time on the property. We cooked dinner, had a campfire, enjoyed the hottub on the porch, and had a great time. The owner, Bob, is a very friendly and caring person. Thank you for the great hospitality and the lovely stay. Hope to see you again someday. :)

FANTASTIC STAY

Vacation 2024

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very clean and well taken care of. We had 6 adults staying and it fit us perfect. Plenty of room, good beds and enough hot water for that many showers. The location of the cabin u feel like your in the middle of nowhere but also easy drive to lots of entertainment. Thanks

Amazing stay/Host

Our girls trip was great! Robert was very nice and helpful after booking and during our stay. He answered all our questions about the town before we got there and was very attentive and helpful during our stay. Stop by in the morning to help assist us and was very very friendly. Highly recommend! The house was stunning and the online pictures truly do not do justice. The area was beautiful and very peaceful. Hot tub was great too! The house had great kitchen appliances included. I cannot say enough good about our stay. We will definitely be booking another trip!

Amazing property with great Views

Our stay at this property was just what we needed. Robert was helpful from the start answering all of our questions without hesitation. The property was absolutely beautiful and clean! We even got up early to have coffee and watch the deer come out of the of the woods. It was amazing! Would definitely love to stay again!

As our lives have changed, My son, Ryan and I made an easy decision in sharing our cabin with others.
This secluded property featuring a beautiful log cabin and its wonderful view have a unique setting which make it the perfect place to escape city life and relax comfortably within the woods. Our log cabin has fantastic accommodations.
Wrap around deck with spa (year round) located under the covered porch, fire pit, entertainment / bar room, and much more. Plenty of room for families, friends, and couples, that are visiting our area to enjoy all that Juneau, Adams, Sauk, Monroe, and Vernon Counties have to offer.
We take much pride with what we have accomplished in making our cabin feel like your cabin during your getaway....and wish all our guests a peaceful and relaxing reboot while visiting our area.
