Spacious mountain home with peaceful views of a cascading creek. The master suite, kitchen and dinning room are separated from the other bedrooms by a covered outdoor seating area with fireplace There are four fireplaces on the property including two outside one being a freestanding rock chimney on a grass terrace in the back yard with views of the creek, both sides of the house have comfortable indoor seating areas with a fireplace.

We had a great stay! We were in town for a wedding, and the location was perfect—within walking distance of everything we needed. The home was comfortable, and check-in and check-out were both super easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

A beautiful home! The pictures don’t fully show how special the property is. It is a perfect location for a large family as there are divided spaces that allow for privacy.

Perfect first trip to highlands but definitely won’t be the last! The property exceeded our expectations for how roomy, well equipped and thoughtfully laid out it was. It’s actually two separate homes joined by a covered patio/living space with fireplace and tv. We and our grown children spent a good bit of time out there and even had a fire at the end of August. The bedroom configuration gave everyone plenty of privacy and room to spread out. Loved the mill creek that ran past the home… so relaxing to hear it. We will definitely rent here again!

Great getaway for family gathering

The house was great for the whole family gathering and an excellent location!! The host was super responsive for the preparation and during the stay. We loved it!!

Great Thanksgiving Stay!

Perfect location to enjoy all of the amenities that the Highlands has to offer. It was great for our family. The property layout was great for a family / multiple families to stay!

Great place for many people to stay comfortably. Well appointed home with amazing back yard along stream with waterfall and natural fire place. Parking is a little limited for as many as the house can hold. Mattress will need an upgrade soon. Great host with timely communication.

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed in this home over a long weekend for a wedding in the Highlands. It was beautiful, peaceful and just perfect for our family. The location was great and we were able to walk downtown to eat, shop, etc. We hope to be back again!

Highland Honies

Great!

This property is great! It’s 2 houses with plenty of space. It’s walkable to Main Street. There is a lovely outdoor area, too, for when it’s warm outside. The property manager, Kirk, is the best!!

Great time

We had a great family vacation at this property. There are several flights of stairs for those with mobility issues. The home is well-appointed. The property manager is very helpful with a quick response time.

All you expect with a private relaxing view.

Nice, spacious & well equipped with some interesting family pieces making it very welcoming & comfortable. Loved close location to village. Little hard to locate w/o house # or name. Would definitely love to rent again.

I would name this home Rivendale!

What a wonderful unique home with great outdoor living room with fire place, sun porches and gathering places. The interior has beautiful touches everywhere. All this with the sound of the creek really makes this a great retreat and social space. Plus a short walk to town for resturants and shops. A real treat!

Nice Spacious House

The house is as described and in a great location for walking to town. We had one small issue and Kirk responded immediately and it was taken care of. Actually, this is like having 2 houses - great for groups of friends. Plenty of space and kitchen has everything you need. We had a great stay! Would love to visit again.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!

My husband and our two young children stayed here for my sister's wedding weekend at Old Edwards and it couldn't have been a better spot! Having 2 houses on the property made it ideal for putting kids to bed in the "upstairs house" while we could still socialize in the lower house. House was clean and very well-stocked with consumables which was very appreciated. Also, location literally could not be better for walking into town. We will be back and recommending it often!
