Studio Layout:
Beautifully designed ocean-view studio featuring a California King bed, dresser, two nightstands with USB chargers, Smart TV with cable, ceiling fan, and sliding glass doors to the lanai.
Fully equipped kitchen and dining table for 2. Includes a digital safe and closet stocked with beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cooler).
Bathroom:
Walk-in shower, single vanity, toilet, and luxury organic bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha.
Lanai:
Private lanai with dining area — perfect for enjoying sunsets, whales, and sailboats.

📍 LOCATION
Located in Kahana on West Maui’s scenic coastline — less than half a mile from Pohaku Beach Park.
Walk to cafés, restaurants, and beach rental shops.
A short drive to Kapalua and Kāʻanapali for golf, shopping, and dining.
Across the street is Kahana Gateway Center, a small shopping center with restaurants such as the Maui Brewing Company. McDonalds, Whaler's convenience store, a gas station, a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and ATMS are also located in the Center.
🚗 PARKING & FEES
Parking: $18/day + tax, payable directly at front desk upon check-in
No resort fees charged by Stay Aloha
Damage Insurance Fee: $75 covers up to $1,500 in accidental damage. Accidents happen — we have you covered.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
Construction Notice: Stucco repair work is ongoing at the resort. It does not affect the pool, fitness center, lobby, or elevators, though light daytime noise may occur.
Unit Condition: This studio is older and not remodeled, but extremely clean and well stocked. Furnishings and decor are dated. Please consider this before booking if you prefer modern accommodations.
Beach Conditions:
The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our HOA, The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.
This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may not be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance. Photos taken on 1/16/2023 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.
This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short term rental ban.
PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.
Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
