This property was exactly as charming as expected. The owner took great care to make sure we felt welcomed with fresh treats, including fresh milk and eggs from the farm, and so many small details that made the house feel like home. The sea views are amazing and it was super convenient to all the sights we wanted to see while in the Kinsale area. Highly recommended!

The place was great and super clean. The kitchen has all you need to cook. The host was super nice and available to answers our questions. The cottage is well located to play golf at Old Head (less than 40 minutes) and several beaches and walking paths are close by within a 45 minutes radius. This is one of the best places we have been since renting houses for vacations.

If your plan is to take a break from the bustles of cities by vacationing in the country side of W Cork - make sure you try to snag this location! The hosts are ridiculous generous and highly responsive. Gorgeous views of the Atlantic and rolling green fields surround this beautiful cottage. This is definitely a repeat location and highly recommended.

The home was absolutely amazing. Immaculately clean. Great communication with Deidre and John. They were so friendly and welcoming. The home had everything we could need. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. A perfect week and a good base for taking lovely day trips. Could not have asked for more!

Ocean's End was the perfect sojourn for us. Tastefully furnished and decorated, with a spacious and more than fully equipped kitchen, we had the best of times during this week in West Cork. Beautiful beaches for daily dips were close at hand (5 min by car or a 30 min walk) and talking to Deidre on our day of arrival made us feel comfortably welcome. Moreover, we found fresh farm eggs, milk, homemade bread, butter and jam in the kitchen, when we got in.

Incredible stay. We wished it was even longer!! Deidre and John were wonderful hosts. Our 3 year old loved meetings the cows, hens and taking walks with Teddy, the most friendly pup!! Even our 1 year old learned 'mooo' during our stay :) truly an amazing stay

Ocean's End was immaculately clean on arrival and completely equipped for a family's needs. The gifts on a arrival were a great touch, and the house felt very homely whilst still being very smart and luxurious. Excellent location, suoer relaxing and tranquil, but easy to get to attractions from too.

We simply loved "Ocean's End." The house was beautiful and spotless, with top-of-the-line appliances and lovely fittings throughout. Hosts Deirdre and John lavished a lot of care on preparing the property. Bonus: we got to learn about dairy farm operations in this part of the world and enjoy fresh milk and eggs! The hosts are kind and ready to share their knowledge, including of local pubs and music venues. We only wish we'd had more time to take advantage of them. The week went by very fast.

Great communication with the host! A fabulous and gorgeous home with everything that you need for a stay. Spotlessly clean and lovely views. The fires were so cozy and so much room for a family of 5. Would really love to return. Thoroughly recommend this place if visiting West Ireland.

The house was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and equipped to a high standard with everything we needed. The hosts, Deirdre & John, were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location of the property was amazing. In every way a perfect place to relax or to use as a base for exploring the area.

We had a wonderful time at Oceans End! Our hosts Deidre and John were so welcoming and kind. Growing up on farms it was so very nice to enjoy the cows and the quiet of it all.

The property is beautifully decorated, well-appointed, comfortable, and welcoming. The hosts are so kind and the extra touches were so appreciated! An incredibly memorable stay!

Our stay was perfect. The pictures on the app along with the narrative were spot on. We enjoyed the view and quiet environment and watching the cows come in for milking and go back out. John was a good instructor for milking cows and was a lot of fun. I will recommend this spot to my friends or anyone else looking for this kind of stay.

Absolutely serene - Perfect stay!

The cottage was amazing and the hosts were extremely hospitable! Everything was super clean and exactly how pictures described. It was very comfortable and had everything you need. The countryside where cottage is located has beautiful scenery and it truly was a small piece of heaven.

This property was magnificent. Check in was easy, the property owner had great communication leading up to our stay as well as during our stay. Many local recommendations as we were here over the St Patrick’s holiday. We were welcome with fresh milk, eggs, bread, jam, and some liqueur where their cream is used to make. The home was stunning, spotless and so cozy. View from the home are even more beautiful in person than in the photos online. This was by far our best stay and close to many local villages and a nice drive to Kinsale and Cobh. I cannot put into words how incredible our stay here was. We will be back when we come to Ireland.

Perfect Seclusion with plenty to do close by

John & Deirdre are great host's. The property is clean and comfortable in a setting that is hard to beat. The place is sitting on an active Dairy Farm and John is happy to give you a lesson in Dairy Farming. Everyone in our party was very happy with our stay.

Incredible stay!

We loved our time in this beautiful house. So well equipped and very comfortable, the hosts have thought of everything! Incredible location and we loved the chance to visit the cows and help with the milking one evening. Thanks so much for having us, we will be back in the future for sure!

Perfectly Peaceful

This is an amazing property, lovingly renovated and thoughtfully appointed. We wanted for nothing, except more time to spend here. The hosts are wonderful, the views were outstanding.
