This house was perfect for a summer week at the lake! We had 8 people ranging from 6-74. The house is about 30 minutes from state parks if we wanted a swimming beach, a hike, or a swimming pier; however, it was 95 degrees, so having the lake in our front yard was PERFECT.- We loved swimming in the cove straight off the house’s dock.- The house was VERY clean when we arrived and had all of the necessities in the bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms. - The beds and couches were very comfortable and there were extra blankets to get cozy under in every room.- We loved the view of the lake from the deck, kitchen table, and basement couch. We could watch Harry the heron come and go.- The shower in the master bedroom was great!- The dock was great and easy to dock a pontoon boat.- We were hoping to drive the boat to a restaurant, but it would have been a 45 minute boat ride.

Sounds like a great week to have the water right out back! We used to own the home next door and loved watching Harry as we worked on the home. Comeback anytime!

Perfect house perfect location

My family of 9 from ages 1-1/2 to 68 had the best vacation together! We absolutely loved everything about this property!! It was relaxing for adults and fun for the kids. We can't wait to go back. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything that we needed.

A few days away

The house was beautiful and very roomy. Enjoyed a few days of fishing and just relaxing. I would recommend this property to friends and family. The host was very easy to contact and that is important.

Brought in the new year

Great!

The property was very clean, and it looked exactly as advertised in the photos. The check-in process was very simple,and Tessa was very responsive to any of my questions. She referred me to a boat rental company, and they called me to set up a boat rental for our stay. This was a great trip for my family!

Wonderful Waterside Experience

We had a family birthday getaway at this wonderful property, and we all agreed that it was absolutely perfect for our group of 6 adults and one infant. The home was very clean and comfortable, with ample bathroom supplies and a full kitchen. The location is private with a large dock area for fishing and sunbathing, and we took advantage of both (as well as the kayak that was available!). The property manager was prompt in answering our questions, and we really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor amenities that this property offered. We highly highly recommend!

Fun Lake Front Home

We had a fun family stay at this lakefront home featuring a great kitchen, and a cool downstairs family room, with additional kitchenette, comfy seating, and a pool table! Wish the upper deck cushions in better shape. They need replacing!

Wonderful and quiet location.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The home is beautiful and up to date with many great luxury features. This home is well stocked and provided a nice relaxing retreat for my wife and our parents while we visited our family near by. Off the beaten path, but still close to anything you could need. Our host was excellent in communicating with us. We had absolutely no problems while staying here. We would highly recommend this property to others. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you to our host Tessa for making our visit so wonderful.

Amazing vacation in Charlotte

I didn't know where to begin. This house was more than we could have asked for. So picturesque as we were lakeside and the house was so cozy. Very spacious and nice layout for our group of eight. Everyone had their own space. Beds were comfortable and the showers were nice. It was so nice to be able to cook one or two meals at home in a fully stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay a little outside of Charlotte. It's in a secluded, quiet area about 45 minutes away from the airport. Not at all in the city, yet we had plentiful restaurant options.

Great access to water & private dock

Positives: Nice property-big private dock (had a ladder too)-very close to water-quiet neighborhood-lots of kitchen gadgets (coffee too)-roomy-great air-conditioning-extras like roasting sticks, grill & floats were very nice-comfortable furniture inside-pool table was fun-rented a boat for 3 days from local marina & were staying by the lake with a dock so boat rental company dropped off & picked up boat-very convenient-fire pit outside was great. Negatives: Large deck was quite nice however furniture on the deck was really dirty (like it had not been cleaned all summer)-several lights did not work in the house (maybe just burned out bulbs-couldn't reach them) so it was kind of dark (especially the kitchen) & there are so many switches on the walls in every room that it was difficult to figure out what they all controlled-broken tile in the primary bathroom shower had mold growing around it. The inside of the house was quite clean however the caretakers should pay some attention to the outside areas also (as these areas are important to folks in the warm weather months). Overall I would definitely stay at this property again as the positives far out weighed the negatives. We GREATLY appreciated the fact that we were not asked to perform numerous housekeeping tasks before leaving (I have stayed at places where the renters are expected to basically clean the entire house before leaving). We only were asked to take the trash out & start the dishwasher-THANK YOU for that!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This lake house truly had everything we could possibly need and then some. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the lake.Communication with the host was outstanding from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made the entire process effortless.Honestly, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was clear that a lot of thought and care went into making guests feel welcome. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect lake getaway!
