Overall this was a great place-- beautiful, charming, quiet. There were a few small maintenance issues, but the hosts were responsive. Not sure it was worth the price but we enjoyed our stay.

This place is amazing. Clean quiet looked exactly like the pictures. Will stay here if possible whenever I’m in Phoenix.

We loved our stay. The place was immaculate and the interior design was lovely. 10/10 - we’d stay here again and probably will in the future! The host was also very accommodating, super responsive and answered every question we had.

Our party of 3 had a wonderful stay at Casa Magdalena. Property was exactly as shown in pictures and extremely clean, communication with host was excellent from beginning to end and property is within walking distance of central downtown area. The park opposite as well as Japanese Friendship Garden were lovely areas to stroll around in the beautiful Phoenix weather. We walked to both CVS and Safeway for supplies. The property had everything we needed during our 11 day stay. We loved the decor and layout of the property. We would definitely recommend to others. 5 stars all round!!

Beautiful, Comfortable Home

I stayed here with my family for a convention in Phoenix. The home is beautifully remodeled and comfortable.The host was very responsive and friendly if we had any questions. We would stay here again.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at the Bungalow! The property was charming and well appointed. Very responsive management. Walking distance downtown including the Convention Center, and to many restaurants and coffee shops.

Total Delight

This house has such great character, and the location is perfect, especially for a family with small kids, as there is a wonderful park directly across the street. I also really appreciated that we only had to take out the trash during checkout. No additional chores on our vacation!

Tradeshow Escape

I stayed here with a colleague for a full week. Long days and thankfully relaxing nights. We were very comfortable and it was a bonus to have bathrobes available. Stacy was very accommodating. We will be back.

Quiet Bungalow - great location

We were looking for a location close to downtown and we found it. Quiet private right next to a park, but very accessible to restaurant bars, and the revitalized downtown of Phoenix. Our bungalow was great for the two of us. The bungalow was appointed very nicely, and all the amenities that we would want. The property management company was very easy to communicate with and very responsive, even though we didn’t need anything because everything was already set up so well. Highly recommend this place and location and the property management company.

Casa Magdalena

Fabulous home, beautifully curated,, great location -- loved it. My only comment has to do with the relationship to the "Bungalow." It would not cause me to hesitate renting again -- but the two properties sort of limits the use of outdoor space and creates a slight sense of a lack of privacy. I've rented properties in Phoenix which have similar structures which are offered at an additional fee, but not rented when the main house is occupied, Not sure if your economics permit this, and again, it wouldn't stop from returning -- you don't have to change a thing. And thanks again for accommodating my second night.

Beautiful place, intense booking process

This was one of the nicest homes I've stayed in, you can tell they take great pride in providing a perfect experience. My only note is that having to send an image of my ID to a 3rd party background check service in order to book the property made me feel like I was risking having my identity stolen, and made me reconsider whether I will ever use VRBO again, as other platforms do not allow hosts to add on additional identity verification steps. Adding to my concern that this was a scam, was the fact that the hosts do not send property address and entry information until 1 hour before the booking starts. Which means that even as my plane landed, there was still the possibility that this was a scam and I would have to find another place to sleep.

Amazing Home

We loved the historic house on Culver. The neighborhood was really nice, located near a park and close to metro as well as downtown for driving. The home was meticulously cleaned and the Interior decorating was five stars. We were totally taken aback. Our teen was really happy to have so much space and his own room and bathroom. I cooked breakfast both mornings. The host / hosting company had great communication and we felt there was a really personal touch. I couldn’t stop taking pictures. My husband and I don’t like staying in generic hotels the first time we visit a city. This home made us feel like we got the best of Phoenix for our short trip. The coffee was also pretty great! And there was a water filter which was a nice touch. For couples staying in the master just know there isn’t much separation from bathroom and bedroom but the second bathroom is there if you want total privacy. Everything was extremely romantic. The huge TV in the master bedroom was great. We ate outdoors on the lovely courtyard. We walked to the metro at night. I wouldn’t walk alone but felt perfectly safe with my husband. Oh man the restaurants nearby are so plentiful!!! Please try the fry bread in Phoenix! Just a few minutes drive nearby. I could have moved right in. Thanks to our hosts.
