Sunset Cottage - Lakefront Cottage with Private Dock

Sunset cottage is cozy, warm, and inviting. This place is perfect for families or couples looking for a fun, relaxing getaway. Built in the 1940s it is quaint and full of character.

Direct access to Lake Wallenpaupack in your front yard with beautiful views directly from your own spacious dining table. Some of the most amazing sunsets at the lake can be seen from this location.

You will have direct access to the lake from the property with a private dock for all of your lake activities. Brand NEW dock in pictures for 2024.

Lake activities included with rental are a paddle boat, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and swimming. Please NOTE jet ski slips will NOT be available for renters. Power boats permitted, bring your own boat and tie off on the private dock or fish right from the dock.

LAKE ACCESS:
**Lake access is difficult for mobility challenged persons**
The upper yard is flat and easy to navigate. However, you will need to walk down an incline of wooden/stone steps and boulders depending on water levels. The walkway to the dock may be underwater during high water levels. Caution is needed when accessing the dock.

LAKE WATER LEVELS:
Spring - Lake levels will be high
Summer - High water mark is June 1st - Walkway to dock might be underwater
Fall - Water levels will be at the lowest. Boats can still be docked but much of the rocky shoreline will be visible.

Linens and towels are included. Some toiletries such as toilet paper and paper towels will be included to get your stay started along with garbage bags.
