We have stayed at Ocean Creek for over 20 years. It never disappoints. H11 was wonderful. The exterior door is a little weather worn but once you are inside the unit everything was clean and comfortable. We had a relaxing sunny week and hated to leave!

We had a wonderful time this week in this beautiful Ocean Creek condo. So close to the beach! The actual unit is on the 11th floor and very close to the elevator. Super convenient to the pool and beach. We love Ocean Creek and enjoy spending time at Barefoot Landing which is right across the street! Great restaurants, shopping, and our kids love the ice cream! We cozied up at night to play games and take in the World Cup competition. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay! The condo is just as pictured- clean, updated, comfortable, amazing views. Loved the decor and the beds were super comfy. Ron at Waya rentals was great to work with- flexible with great communication. The resort is one of our favorites (we have stayed several times). This is by far the best condo we have stayed in here and can’t wait to book again.

Amazing Property!

Excellent location near Barefoot Landing, restuarants, shopping & entertainment. Beautiful ocean views from balcony & easy walk to the beach & pools. Unit was well appointed & recently renovated. We especially appreciated the separate beverage fridge & the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a lot of rainy weather & the large round dining table was great for family games & puzzles. Check-in could not have been more conveniedt & host was very accomodating!

Wonderful Vacation Stay

We had an absolute great experience. This condo was everything we hoped it would be. The location was ideal with easy access to all that Myrtle and North Myrtle have to offer while providing a safe and secure private community. Best of all the views are amazing as we loved the view from our condo of the ocean and Myrtle on our southern view. The property itself offered everything we could have wanted between pools, beach grill, and a private beach feel. Great experience as well dealing with our property manager who was very responsive to any questions we had. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful condo perfect family vacation!!

We had the absolute best time at ocean creek July 19 thru July 26. It is completely renovated and absolutely beautiful. The beds were so comfortable, like staying in an upscale hotel. Loved that all the bedrooms had private baths. We had dinner every night at the big beautiful dining table, the kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. The rental process, entry to unit and property was seamless, communication was quick and efficient. Truly loved our vacation! 5My only recommendation to the owners and to any future renters would be either to supply more towels or encourage renters to bring them. Also there were no kitchen towels.

Annual Golf Trip

We travel to Myrtle Beach almost every year to play golf. We reserved this unit because we have stayed in this resort on many occasions and it is close to everything and well cared for on all of our previous visits. This unit had a great view and had just been remodeled extensively. We found it to be very nice throughout. the owner and i spoke several times to go over some questions I had prior to our visit. He was very friendly and gracious, and made everything easy. We will surely try to get this same unit when we return in the future! We had a great time!

Just so you know we do have other units in the building we manage as well just in case next time you come your group size is too big for one unit. Thanks, Waya Rentals

I would absolutely not recommend staying at this condo and will never stay here again. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property was not being properly maintained. The outdoor welcome mat was filthy and so bunched up that we had to move it just to get the exterior door open. The exterior door itself is in terrible condition and desperately needs to be repaired or replaced. It certainly doesn’t make a good first impression.Unfortunately, things didn’t improve once we got inside. One of the bedroom curtains had stains or some unknown substance on them, the guest room bedspread had multiple stains, and there was what appeared to be mold covering the bathroom ceiling vent. These are not conditions guests should have to accept. To make matters worse, we killed at least three roaches during our stay. I honestly can’t remember the last time I stayed somewhere that had roaches.Another major issue was the lack of linens. There were six of us staying for an entire week, yet we were provided with only one bath towel and one washcloth per person. When I contacted the owner to request additional towels, I was told they no longer provide extras because previous guests had stolen them. While that’s unfortunate, paying guests shouldn’t be penalized for the actions of others. I don’t go on vacation to spend my time doing laundry every day—sometimes even twice a day—just to have a clean towel. And for the record, I certainly had no desire to take the worn towels home.

Shirley, Thank you for your feedback. I am really surprised as you can see the guests that came in just days before you posted a really great 5 star review, as have almost all of our other guests for the last couple years. I have put a note in to the owners to inform them that the outside door needs to be repainted. Being on the ocean takes it's toll on the outside doors and paint work. I will also ask that we leave more towels and what not for guests sot that people that like to use a different towel each day do not need to do laundry while they are on vacation. Thanks, Ron

The mattress in the master bedroom was great! The remodeling of this unit was spot-on….. so lovely! The location and the views of the ocean were fantastic. Our only issue was some of the rugs….. they slid around on the new floors, causing potential safety issues. Some of the rugs were too thick, causing a tripping hazard and some were too thin, turning them into skim-boards on the beach!! But we were able to move the rugs out of our way. And actually, from a renter’s standpoint, those beautiful floors exposed (without rugs) felt much more sanitary and clean! Plus if it were in my house, I’d be wanting to showcase and feature the floors…. not a nappy rug! Just my opinion! And safety does matter!

Kathy, Thanks for the awesome review!!! Noted on the rugs, and yes I agree with the floors they are amazing, as the owners really spared no expense on that remodel. This unit is one of the nicest ones I have ever seen in those buildings. The view can not be beat and not having guests above you or on either side I think lends it self to a quieter setting as well. We hope to see you again real soon. Thanks, Ron(Waya Rentals Vacation Rental Company)
