The Campsite is situated in a mini forest reserve surrounded by a vast array of flora and fauna that is unique to the area facing the park boundary.
It is inevitable that our guests get to observe and be a part of the natural wilderness within such a setting.
You’ll love my Camp as it's located on the border of Yala National Park, within a 20-minute drive to the entrances.
For visitors' full satisfaction and comfort, all the tents are spacious, and come with raised beds, comfortable mattresses, pillows, bed linens, towels, a flashlight, and an umbrella.
Each tent is fully equipped with attached partitioned toilets. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). You can book safaris directly.
The camp property has a span of 10 acre land and it is accessible with a naturalist present. Other than the kitchen and the dedicated tent areas at the camp site the guests have access to the property grounds as per the rules and regulations mentioned at the camping brief by the manager.
Although the tents are set up far from local villages, bear in mind that this area is very quiet, so the distant sound of a radio or temple chant may sometimes carry to the campsite. These occurrences are rare, but we would like to keep our customers informed in case such situations arise.

If the calendar shows full, write us to check availability.
The Big Game campsite is located close to the “Katagamuwa” entrance (off Katharagama) facing the park boundary, with a 15 to 20 minute drive to the park entrance.
The area is a haven for a wide array of birds, which not only forage and hunt in the area, but also nest in the trees. The campsite might also give you glimpses of axis deer and the occasional Sri Lankan Elephant. It is not unknown to hear the sound of leopards and see the mischief that the various species of monkeys – purple-faced langurs and toque macaques – get up to. There is a watering hole in the campsite that attracts thirsty animals, and this gives our guests a great opportunity to observe wildlife up close.
We can provide safaris for an extra cost.

Acerca del anfitrión

It gives me great pleasure that you are reading this page, as most probably you are interested in booking an “Experiential Space” under the Eco Team Group , founded by me.
Though I may not be there to welcome each one of you personally, my able team will take care of you the same as me or even better . .
It’s high time that we, as the key tourism industry stakeholders, understand our responsibility when it comes to creating accommodation and expenses. We should not limit our creativity and only flock to where everyone else is going. We should have the courage, creativity and grit to go to places that seldom others go to and create a successful, creative and sustainable Tourism Experience. This is exactly what I have done with the experiential living spaces I have created under the Eco Team Group.
