Far Horizons is a two-storey home with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and comes fully equipped and furnished, accommodating up to thirteen people. Its surroundings and luxurious style are the perfect combination for an authentic and memorable stay, whether you come for one week or more. Far Horizons, Montebello, Quebec, is midway between and Ottawa and Montreal. about an hours travel time either way.

While staying at Far Horizons, guests may enjoy year round activities at the famous Fairmount Château Montebello, located just minutes away.

No matter what time of year you arrive, the activities are numerous. You may come for quiet solitude or prefer to take part in many activities where you may establish meaningful relationships. In winter, cross-country skiing is spectacular. Just throw on your skiis and ski out across the golf course. In summer, golf on the world famous Fairmount Chateau Montebello golf course. It is challenging even for the avid golfer! Or just stay put, enjoy the breadth of the property. There are many places to lounge, from the stone patio, to the spa and hot tub. Far Horizon est l’endroit idéal pour une fête de famille. Très bien équipé et pouvant accommoder confortablement jusqu’à 13 adultes. La vue sur la rivière des Outaouais est fantastique. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation.

Wonderful family vacation!

We had a wonderful visit on the property and visiting the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with supplies. Our children enjoyed playing outside.

Fabulous property for family reunion

We loved our stay at Far Horizons. The view from the huge balcony was spectacular- over a canopy of trees. It was perfect for morning yoga and evening cocktails. The house was immaculate and spacious. Hosts made the stay easy and seamless! We will return!

Outstanding Property

We were 2 parents, 3 children and spouses and 4 grandchildren ages 4 to 7 - a total of 12 people! And the property was absolutely outstanding for our weekend stay. The house is SO spacious, and the amenities are tremendous - beautiful deck with view of the Ottawa River and forests, hot tub, and a gorgeous outside patio that looks like a castle. Absolutely everything you need is in the house - we only needed to bring our clothes. And Jennifer and Greg were the ultimate hosts, doing everything they could to accommodate our needs, including early check-in. Thank you to both of you!

Great stay and view!

Very comfortable, lots of room for our family. The view is just awesome. We were fortunate to see the full moon at night and it was a great scene. I recommend this place!

Wow !

Une vue imprenable sur Montebello. Chalet confortable, décorée avec gout. Bien équipé, il ne manque de rien. Par contre, nous n'avions pas reçu le bon code d'acces pour la porte d'entrée. Nous avons dû attendre une (1) heure au froid avant de pouvoir entrer. En hiver il y aurait dû avoir quelqu'un pour s'occuper du déneigement du stationnement et des escaliers. Ce serait à corriger

Fantastic views comfortable space

We enjoyed our stay at Far Horizons. The younger kids used the hot tub like a pool. Lots of space for our group. 4th "bedroom " is in the basement so we didn't use it. The "loft" is a finished attic which also wasn't practical for families with kids but we didn't need it at all. Deck was awesome and the view was incredible.

Family vacation, kids & grand kids

It was perfect for a family escape, to spend time together, yet there were many things to do in the area … golf, town, hiking, biking, Tremblant, ATV excursion. Greg & Jennifer were great, very responsive, when we had questions.

Perfect escape

Well located on a Hill Side, view on the river and sunrise. Lot of room to sleep, classy, confortable and the hosts are realy Nice and easy to join. Also, the Spa is half inside the Chalet, which is Nice to cut Montréal of the wind in the winter. I recomand !

Great time!

We chose this house for a girls’ getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The location was great. The place was clean, cozy and the hot tub was lovely! Jennifer and Greg were super responsive and the check in/out process was so simple! I would highly recommend this place :)

My husband is a firefighter and I am a supply teacher. No matter what we are doing, we like to be together. Our children are 10 and 11 and Far Horizons is the perfect spot for us to enjoy both outdoor and indoor activities year round as a family. The children love it here, and we always feel like we are on vacation when we come.

Upon the purchase of Far Horizons, my brother Jeff dedicated this home as a place where dreams come true and lasting memories are created. We encourage each visitor to leave something small but meaningful of themselves for the next visitor to enjoy. We are grateful to have the opportunity to share this dream of ours with you. Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We really enjoy coming to Far Horizons just to relax. It is so beautiful we feel privileged each time we come. We love to throw on our skis in the winter, and just ski out through the woods and across the golf course. We enjoy taking the kids down to the Chateau Montebello for a swim too, although we take part in many activities there. Once the kids are in bed, my husband and I really enjoy just lounging in the hot tub, or sitting in the lounge chairs in front of the large living room window with the lights out and the fireplace going just enjoying the view.
