Escape to a beautifully restored private farmhouse just 9 miles from Elk Mountain Ski Resort or a short walk to 172-acre Belmont Lake. This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath retreat features an open floor plan, outdoor hot tub, and a large back deck with sweeping mountain and lake views.

Set on our family’s 7th-generation, 300-acre Pleasant Mount farm, you’ll enjoy miles of scenic hiking and biking trails, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and endless fresh-air adventure. After a day outdoors, relax in comfort with fast Wi-Fi, cozy living spaces, and modern amenities.

The home sleeps 10–11 guests comfortably with 2 queen beds, 2 full beds, a queen pull-out sofa, and an additional couch. Just 5 miles away, you’ll find local bars and restaurants to round out your stay.

Whether you’re here for skiing, lake activities, or a peaceful countryside getaway, you’ll love the privacy, views, and charm of this mountain farmhouse.

Originally from this area coming back for Celebration of Life for my parent. The house was beautiful, clean and easy to find. The view was gorgeous. It was a wonderful place for family to gather. We loved it!

Beautifully restored farmhouse

Home was cleaner than clean. Well outfitted. Slept 7 adults comfortably. Convenient to elk mountain. Drive and walk were shoveled before we arrived. Plenty of ice melt available as neededOur only recommendation for the owners is to add hooks thruout the home , especially in the course for winter coatsWe had a great long weekend in this lovely convenient home!

Ski Getaway to Elk Mt.

Great home, 15 min to the slopes. Beautifully redone farmhouse. Cozy space, well heated for being an old farmhouse. Hot tub was great for post skiing. The 3 showers were awesome and stayed hot for both of our families to use. Beds and linens were cozy. Laundry was great to dry wet ski clothes. Loved the touch of a small bench in each room for luggage. Beautifully redone kitchen. Was limited on cookware and no bakeware- but that may change? This was a great space for our 2 families to ski for 2 days.

Perfect for a ski weekend!

The house is super clean and super cozy. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy. The property is gorgeous with a view of a snow covered lake which I imagine would be beautiful in the summer. Quick drive to elk Mountain. Host was incredibly communicative and responsive we really enjoyed our stay!
