Our stay was peaceful. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and of course watching the cows and donkeys. We would love to stay again!

The stay was absolutely amazing! Everyone was super nice that we got to meet and communication was very helpful and quick. The beds were very cozy and hot tub was 10000/10! Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. And definitely worth the price and drive.

Such a comfortable stay that we didn't want to leave!Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of counterspace, adorable cows, and a hot tub to boot!We're already planning our next trip. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This Shouse is amazing. Well beyond the pictures and my expectations! Beautiful, clean, has every amenity you could want. Billie Jo even brought us a high chair for the baby and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing country weekend.

Nice, clean and modern place. We enjoyed the hot tub, the walking trail, and the mini cows. Kids enjoyed having a tv in the bedrooms. Plenty of room to host a small bbq with family. (If you’re traveling with kids, heads up there’s no washer/dryer.)

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed the quiet environment, hot tub, and the views of land and livestock. It’s located just outside of town and within driving distance of plenty of things to do!

This was very clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed the peaceful, rural area and enjoyed watching the Highland Cattle from the hot tub. Really lovely view. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. It has a great area to gather and talk and the kitchen has all you need. Beds were comfortable.

The property was stocked very well with amenities! The built in fireplace was really cool and the hot tub was amazing!! The views of the countryside and the animals was relaxing and entertaining. We will definitely find a reason to come stay again!!

Birthday getaway

Perfect Getaway in Emmetsburg

We found this hidden gem while planning for a family reunion near Emmetsburg. It was absolutely perfect for our family. The property is well-equipped and convenient to town. The host went beyond measure to ensure our stay was pleasant and we felt welcomed. I’d highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful place

We had such a nice time staying here! The accommodations were great, everything was so clean, and we had everything we needed for an amazing girls weekend! The only criticism I would give was on our second night, a man let himself into the Vrbo which we thought was a little odd. Such a comfortable place to spend the weekend, would definitely recommend to others/come again!

We had a spectacular experience on this beautiful property, gazing at the stars, the moon, the sunrises, and enjoying the quiet. The hosts were very welcoming, and invited us to enjoy the mowed walking path around their property (which we did twice!). This was truly a respite for my husband and me, and we had so much fun interacting with the Highland cows and sitting on the patio just being. We highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to reconnect with nature and each other!
