One of the most thoughtful VRBO experieces we've had. This is a fun, well-curated home with many comfortable places to hang out together and sleep. We appreciated the Jampanese-inspired gardens. The home is at the end of a street so it's quiet. The hosts were great communicators and extended our stay when we requested a last-minute change. You will feel pampered during your stay.

Fun Property in Great Location

Excellent stay for our wedding!

This was a great and unique location close to downtown St. Paul, and was a perfect spot for the bridal party to stay and get ready. Great amenities, location, and very friendly owners. Would stay again, and would recommend to a friend!

This place has it all! An interesting older home with updated features. Very clean and great location in the Cathedral Hill area. Easy to get to restaurants and attractions. Helpful owners with good communication. Would definitely stay at this property again.

The wife and I needed to get away for a couple days, this looked great online so we just went for it. So glad we did, house is cozy, hot tub was hot, mattresses could get an upgrade but we dealt with it. Very quiet, and there's plenty to do around the local area if you enjoy nature and all its neatness!

Great house and location!

This house was everything we were looking for. The owners were attentive from start to finish. The house was welcoming, immaculately clean, great style, plenty of space for all of us to sleep and have quiet time away from one another when needed. Everything was just perfect. This was walking distance from the Xcel so we were able to walk back and relax when we had open time instead of being stuck walking around. We were able to save money by doing Door Dash or preparing our own food. The kitchen was set up with everything we needed. Saved money by being able to park at the house instead of ramp or hotel parking. This was a great deal and a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it and would not hesitate to stay there again.

My husband, Ryan and I manage our properties full time, we live about a block away from this home, and are active in the community. St. Paul is a great place to visit, and we can give recommendations on things to do, places to visit, or events going on.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This house is on the list of many of our friends and neighbors and as their favorite house in the neighborhood, so when the original owner came to us and asked if we had interest in purchasing it, we jumped at the opportunity!

The original owner of the home has built the big red Japanese style home next door, and also owns the Japanese garden next to the house. We purchased this house - the house he had lived in for 43 years last fall, and modernized and furnished the home. They are great neighbors, and obviously love the neighborhood!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The best part of the house is the location - you have uninterrupted views of the Mississippi River Valley, Smith High Bridge, and miles of bluffs. The original owner is a master gardener, and has built amazing gardens, paths, and rare plants, trees, and landscaping surround the home. Inside the house is another unique experience - open concept living with 7 seating areas, 2 bedrooms, 1 extra bedroom with futon, incredible "beam room" with suspended bubble chair, lower level TV room with 65" Roku TV, kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee, waters. Two full bathrooms with rainhead showers, plus an extra shower!

The location gets better when you realize you can walk to the best coffee (Claddagh Coffee), Brewery (Bad Weather & Waldmann), and cocktail lounge (Emerald Lounge) all within about 2 blocks. You can also walk to Xcel Energy Center, and downtown St. Paul!
