Stay in Comfort, Surrounded by Nature
Your cozy glamping retreat Tent #3 - Tempranillo is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable escape. Inside you will find two twin beds, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glasses—ideal for savoring local wines. Heating and air conditioning keep you comfortable, no matter the weather.

A Pet-Friendly Retreat
Your furry friends are welcome! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee.

Explore Pedernales Falls State Park for swimming, hiking, and horseback riding, or hike to breathtaking views at Enchanted Rock. Stroll through Johnson City and Fredericksburg, where boutique shops, galleries, and seasonal farmers’ markets showcase the charm of Hill Country. Pair handcrafted wines with wood-fired pizza, charcuterie boards, and our famous Martins Nutz (glazed pecans) at 12 Fires Winery. In town, indulge in local favorites like 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria and Proof and Cooper at the Lumberyard.

Unwind Under the Stars
End your day by the fire pit with complimentary firewood, sharing stories and stargazing in the fresh night air. Fires are permitted unless a burn ban is in effect.

Very accommodating.

This was my first “glamping” experience. And I’m not a camper so this review reflects that. The beds were comfortable. All of the amenities were great. You have to ask for the blow dryer which is fine but I didn’t read it that way on the website. I loved that they had the grill for use which was nice since we arrived from all over texas and wanted to grill as a group that night. My main complaint was the lighting was pretty dim in the tent but I should have expected that. They do have small rechargeable lanterns for extra light but ours were dead when we got there so we had to charge them. And the first couple of nights I guess traffic on 290 was light so we didn’t hear a lot of traffic noise but the last night it went on all night. They do provide ear plugs for that but my ears just can’t handle them and even the white noise app didn’t drown it out. Overall a good experience and the nicest people at the winery.

Le gustó: Limpieza, check-in, comunicación y ubicación

Cute getaway weekend

Short Version: Cute & clean, friendly staff, smaller property than expected, closes earlier than expected (7pm). Photos of the sleeping arrangements are misleading.. Tent 3 was tiny single person bunk beds (not ideal for a couple). Details: The address takes you 16 minutes out of the way and you end up at a random field. You’ll have better luck typing in “12 Fires Winery” and looking for the Castle (yes a literal Castle, you can’t miss it), they share a driveway. The tent pros: cute & clean + shower/toilet in your tent. Tent cons: our tent was unfinished (missing faucets), wood platform it’s built on is very noisy when walking around in your tent and trying to be quite/ respectful of others. Sleeping arrangements are not as expected - our tent had single person bunk beds and based on photos we assumed all tents had actual beds (nowhere in booking does it notate bunk beds). Property pros: very clean, just smaller than expected. Tasting room is very nice, beautiful deck and clean restrooms, cons: closes at 7pm and doesn’t serve any food or snacks. Additional Notes: 7 minute drive to the city for food/restaurants. Castle is close by and serves Pizza (also closes at 7pm). Dog friendly! Staff has a few sweet doggos roaming freely around the property as well so make sure your own dogs get along with others. Tents don’t “lock” but they do provide combination locks. You can hear the other renters (tents) and the freeway because everything is quite close.

Tasting Room Hours
We’re open Friday – Sunday, 12 PM – 6 PM. If your stay falls outside these hours, reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
