We had 10 people 4 kids and 6 adults. This place was perfect with plenty of room to move about freely. Great neighborhood for morning exploration with the grandkids. I would book this again without hesitation.

The host was very responsive and helpful. House was as described. Boat house was an added bonus! We had a great time playing games in the game room. This home worked well for a family getaway with our adult kids and grandkids.

We were celebrating a rare family vacation with our four adult children who are all headed off to far away places. This was the only week we could get together all year. And we are so fortunate to have had the great vacation home hosted by Trevor. The space and layout worked perfectly for our family. The lake views were terrific and all of us spent time admiring the beautiful and ever changing vistas. We really enjoyed the amenities, from the game room where we had billiards, Pac-Man and table hockey competitions to hours spent kayaking from the handy boathouse upriver or around the lake. Awesome experience for all. Thank you, Trevor and thank you, Tara!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. The large living room/kitchen was a favorite place to hang out and play board games and share meals. The air hockey and pool table in game room were a hit. The master bedroom/bath was very nice. The lake view from the house was lovely. We liked having the dock with boat house and we took out two kayaks and two standup paddle boards on the lake and explored the nearby Siltcoos River also. The location was near Jessie Honeyman State Park (short drive) where we spent lots of time. Some things to be aware of: the game room/downstairs bedroom unit requires a separate entrance. Bed configurations have changed since the "bedrooms" listing was made--there are no longer bunk beds, and one of the queens is a full. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner and shower soap, for two of the bathrooms. All in all, a great stay!

Lake Trip

Had a great time. The boat house was nice to store jet skis in. Plenty of room for the kids. Play room was a plus!

Great spot!

Super fun property to stay at. We rented a pontoon from Darlings marina and it was great to have the dock as a base camp. Lots of fun games in the basement and plenty of beds in the house for everyone.

Rooms with a view

Great Space for family! Family room with pool table , arcade games, , dart boatd , air hockey, corn hole. My adult kids had a great time. The view of the lake was fantastic. Centrally located to dunes, lakes ans ocean.

Beuatiful Home in a Great Location

We gathered here for a birthday party weekend and had a great time. The garage is a great setup for a separate recreation area. The view of the lake is nice. There was plenty of parking around back. Overall we were all really happy with our stay here and would happily stay again.

Having access to the boat house as a launch point to kayak the Siltcoos water trail is unbeatable. Not having to haul all your own kayaks is particularly priceless: the house came with several. The house is situated with easy access to the river entrance. The kitchen was well stocked and there are panoramic views of the lake from the deck. The string ring game was a group favorite.

Very nice house. Only "problem" was that some of the floor plan required some visitors to walk through the bedrooms of others to access the bathroom - a little awkward.

Beautiful view!

We spent a week celebrating our son's graduation and spend time with grandparents. We had an amazing time and the view is absolutely amazing. The upstairs bunk beds may not have been our best option as we could have used 2 adult rooms on main floor, but it all worked out and we had an amazing time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Our family had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and welcoming everything was. The house is absolutely gorgeous and had all the comforts of home while offering a peaceful retreat with stunning lake views.One of the most special parts of our trip was the quality time we spent together as a family. My husband and son woke up at 4:00 a.m. every morning to go fishing, and they had an incredible time making memories together on the water. Those early mornings quickly became the highlight of their trip.The location was perfect for exploring the area. During our stay, we visited the Oregon Dunes, explored Florence, spent a day at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, walked along the Newport Pier, enjoyed the beautiful beaches, and even took a trip to Wildlife Safari. There was something for everyone, and every day brought a new adventure.After a full day of exploring, it was wonderful coming back to such a comfortable and relaxing home. The host was fantastic, responsive, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.This property gave our family the opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and create memories we'll cherish for years to come. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay while exploring the Oregon coast and surrounding attractions! 10/10 recommend! We can't wait to come back.

Lots of space

The house was beautiful. Neighbors are close, but was not an issue. As discussed with owner, the downstairs was significantly colder than upstairs. We could not stay in the downstairs room. We would love to come back in summer, the views are remarkabke.

Fabulous spot for families with teens!

What a great spot! I was accompanied by teens ranging from 14-19, and we all had such a great time… we enjoyed taking the kayaks on the lake, playing pool and air hockey in the game room, and exploring the nearby dunes on foot and by ATV. Florence is a quick drive away with lots of good restaurants and shops so there was always plenty to do. The house itself was great with a fenced yard for our dog and a wrap-around porch with nice views. The rooster nearby crowed now and then, but didn’t wake any of us up. (We did use the sound machines and that seemed to do the job.) Thanks for sharing this lovely spot with us; we would certainly enjoy staying there again!

Beware of Chickens

We had a nice week vacation on the Oregon coast. The house is big and nice with a big kitchen and living room. Big yard and hang out area in the garage with a pool table. Enough room for 9 people to have fun and relax. The kayaks were a lot of fun! There are a lot of stairs leading down to the private deck and boathouse. The description of the kids room is a little deceiving. Not good for all adults. There is no separate entrance so it’s essentially one big room with a queen and twin beds separated by a small door with a curtain, no door. The beds are all pretty small. The biggest complaint are the chickens next door with 2 roosters that will wake you up at 5 am everyday. They are not contained and roam the streets as well. We enjoyed the wrap around deck and bbq. All in all we had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had an amazing view of the lake and all bedrooms were nicely separated from each other in their different "zones" which worked well for our 4 generation family. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and kayaks provided to explore the beautiful lake. A nice quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking. Would love to come back and repeat the experience sometime!
