Enjoying an elevated hillside location on the inland island of Osterøy just 25 minutes drive from the beautiful city of Bergen, and just 40 minutes from the airport, this delightful holiday apartment is spacious, comfortable and cosy and is ideal for up to 4 people. This modern property boasts a large terrace with fabulous views of beautiful Sør fjord and the surrounding mountains

The spacious living and dining room provides the ideal place to relax and entertain guests with comfortable stylish sofas, a flat-screen smart tv with digital channels as well as Google Chromecast and access to on demand services with a suitable subscription, a dining table seats up to 6 and there is a well appointed kitchen with modern appliances.

The stylish modern kitchen is fitted with an electric induction hob, oven, dishwasher, 2 coffee machines, toaster, microwave, and upright fridge with separate freezer.

Guests can also enjoy alfresco dining on the large, sunny private terrace with breath taking views over the beautiful fjord and surrounding mountains.

The sleeping accommodation is also very stylish and extremely versatile with 2 double bedrooms with a comfortable super king size bed in the master bedroom together with a fitted wardrobe and a second bedroom furnished with 2 single beds and a chest of drawers.

A large modern bathroom provides a shower, washbasin and vanity unit, wc, and washing machine with heated clothes dryer

A delightful short 15 minute ferry crossing, which is currently free of charge and runs every 30 minutes, takes you to Breistein and from there it is only a 15 min drive to Bergen City centre.

There are numerous walking opportunities in the local area such as the Kossdalssvingane.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!! Everything was absolutely perfect! The house had everything we could need, lots of space, and everything was nice and clean :) Sue was a fantastic host and had great communication throughout the check in process, and although we didnt need anything because the place was perfect, it was nice to know we could reach out. The view was absolutely breathtaking and coming home to our Norway home away from home was a highlight of each day :) Thank you so much!

Peace and quiet view of the surrounding, the mountains and rivers with the nearby ferrys, with a small town feel up atop the mountain. So relaxing even by just staying home to enjoy the view all day.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was immaculate and well appointed, with the views as lovely as promised. Great access to hiking trails too! Sue and Martin were great hosts, they made everything easy!

Amazing View

This apartment was exactly as described. We thought it was pretty great! It took us a few tries to figure out the washing machine and drying racks but we got it. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen— not just coffee and tea but cinnamon and parchment paper. too.

Great apartment in a quite neighbourhood.

Very nice and modern apartment with a beautiful view. Very nice contact with the owner. Even though they don't live in Norway the contact with them was fine and the information provided was helpful. Access to the apartment was easy. The location of the apartment was great. It is an hour drive to Bergen City. And the Island of Osterøy offers a beautiful landscape.

The house that Sue provides guarantees a successful holiday. It is very functional. Every thing you take out of your suitcase, finds its convenient place in wardrobes, cupboards, on shelves, in drawers, on hangers, etc. The living room and terrace really gives you plenty of space to relax. The super-equipped kitchen gives you a lot of independence in meal planning. Sue, the owner of the flat, is an exceptionally friendly person. She gave us a quick answer to every question. Very close to the house the ferry connection towards Bergen. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Die Sauberkeit war nicht befriedigend. Offenbar gab es ein Problem mit der Reinigungskraft. Die Vermieter zeigten sich sehr bemüht aber die Reinigungskraft war nicht verfügbar. Daraufhin wurden uns die Kosten für die Endreinigung zurückerstattet. Dies war für uns akzeptabel. Ansonsten war alles super!

My wife and I stayed for 10 lovely days at Sue's appartment. It was absolutely spotless, super comfortable and convenient too! We loved staying close to Bergen but not right in the middle of the crowded city. Osteroy was stunning and much much less crowded. But it was super easy and quick to hop on the ferry right by the house and get to Bergen's city center in less than 30 minutes. It was a perfect base for us to explore the whole area. We are so glad we chose this property and would definitely stay here again!

Wir haben uns sehr über die großen Räumlichkeiten, das helle Ambiente, die moderne Einrichtung und die große Terrasse gefreut. Wir haben dennoch ein zwei Hinweise: für vier Personen ist das Besteck zu wenig, es waren einige Gegenstände wie Nachttisch staubig, es fehlte uns persönlich ein Grill, für den Geschirrspüler gab es kein Salz und kein Klarspüler.

Dear Volker, thank you for your feedback. A full range of cutlery is provided for 4 guests. We do not provide dishwasher salt as this is a soft water area. Our listing description does not say that a barbecue is provided. I have spoken to our cleaner regarding dust on the bedside tables. Parfait pour visiter Bergen et ses environs si vous voyagez en voiture

Bien équipé, facile à trouver, ferry à 2 pas pour Bergen si vous avez une voiture. Je recommande pour une famille jusqu'à 4 personnes. Proprietaire disponible et attentionnée.
